DA's (Density Altitude) looks like it should be very good today ~600'-900' at track opening with it dropping to ~300' by 9pm. If track prep is good.................should be some fast times.

 

They were very relaxed with it in previous years but this year they've been strict about the helmet rule.

Denchan350gt(dsskyline on driver) will be there today running on my drag radials. He shouldnt have a problem getting a 13.2 or so. I'll probably be getting there around 7pm.

Good times tonight...........it went from not crowded to mega crowded in about 20 mins. I was able to get a new personal best.

 

No, never heard that noise again. I ran down the track a few times today with no issues. It was probably a big rock in someones tire or the S2000's belt tension (He said it sometimes made a noise).

I didn't see your last run.......how'd it go? I had a scare on that pass.........the wheel spun inside of the tire.......speedo was at 120+mph. Put some air back in and was able to get a 13.32@105.66 before heading home.

Alright there were at least 4 Z's and NO G'S AT ALL. One Z came down from Frederick (Mike) and another came from Gathersburg (Anthony). A couple others went straight to the track so I didn't get to talk to them before I left.

I got 6 passes is under 30 minutes when the gates opened then I let her cool down. It didn't start to get crowded until around 6:30 or so. I left around 7:30.

Maybe next time the G's can make a better showing? I guess the G guys are just too scared of racing. LOL

yea good times definitely ...saw 03threefiftyz make a couple runs.....dj amps was making some...and dont think i saw zzzrated make a pass...but met some new faces....we need to make a bigger meet there and just goof around and make some runs...

 

Your mph is strong for such few mods and relatively heavy weight. I will be at Mason Dixon on Fri Oct 9th for the T&T.

ok, ill try to be there. i gonna get some better tires hopefully before than. i was losing traction really bad in first and second every run. but hey that little deflation of the did help me in first gear a little. let me know if you going to the skyline drive curz if so we can meet somewhere.
