I think I am going to make the drive down again..........anyone interested. Last week I got 7 runs in from 5-6 (2 more from 745-930)and it didn't really get crowded until 645ish.

20 to race

10 to watch

The weather looks great for Friday.

Mike - please shoot me a link or specs (size, year) on the RX7 wheels you were telling me about that will clear the stock Brembo rears so I can look into some track wheels. Might not get to the track till spring, but that way I can troll for a deal and get tires. Thanks - Chris

Run your stockers Cass. Who cares, just have fun and take it easy going into boost.

I'll most likely be running this friday. Wife is cool with it since I can get our early and still take her out later LOL.

according to Dave @FT, when my turbos get rebuilt, they will be upgrading them to the 700bb series. Hopefully this means I get my car back within a week. *fingers crossed*

Get 2 rear CCW Classics, those things are HAWT!

On a side note, I might have to take out the mighty 4 banger to see how many variations of 16 seconds I can achieve.

Hey, I think I saw you out monday. You were at the car wash. My friend was trying to run you for fun...he was in a mustang and we were all parked at the car wash there. You smashed first gear as you were leaving the car wash.

I was in the Lexus IS300. Did you see the black STI that was trying to race everyone?

That was me......I don't run on the street . I was just taking it out to spray it off and went back home. I rarely drive the car. Your car is turbo right?

Cool, I guess he saw the street slicks on the car and figured most people don't run around on expensive slicks unless they want to have some fun on the street or they have something nasty under the hood, which is why I think he wanted to mess around.

Mine is turbo. The guy in the Sti tried to mess with me and my friends 67 mustang and then wimped out to run my other friends mustang after he did a burnout to heat the tires up at the turnaround, the sti just kept driving and wouldnt stop to line up.

I tried to get Ray to come out with his car, but he was in for the night...but he is the same, rarely comes out for fun.

My car isn't really anything special, but it isn't my DD. I run almost every weekend so I don't bother to swap out the rear wheels. I might put a 100 shot or an FI set-up on over the winter, but it isn't a high priority......I just like to have fun with it. It is a 12.90's car under ideal conditions, etc, etc as it sits so (the driver is holding it back )

I used to do the turn around thing in my turbo 4 door gsr way back in the day, but I don't like even going 45mph on 40 anymore lol........too many police.

I hear that, the police are out of control in the city, all these crazy unmarked nissan maxima's.

I remember back in the late 90s with my mid 12 second 1G TSi AWD we use to go to lily pons, east alco, turnaround, etc and not get nearly the harassement we get now...those days are long gone, haha. I got nailed in my single turbo supra a couple years back and that did it for me for a while.
Now I just go out when everyone else feels like it, and we usually dont race because most of the cars out there are not worth the trouble.

Which supra is yours.....I used to hang out with a few back in the 00-03 timeframe. I got pinched in 04 out at lilly pons lined up with a mustang.......I actually got off scott free because they went after the cars that fleed, and just let us two go.......it was wild. We used to go out to east alco a bit too, but less often.

I had mine in 2006, it was black targa 6 speed, single turbo 67mm on pump gas it made 656 whp at 23 lbs boost, stock chrome wheels. I sold it last year. I have car add, and went through so many cars in the past...TalonTSi AWD, MR2, 610 whp FD RX7 (red with fikse FM5's, you may have seen that car before), Supra, 89 Mustang GT 347 stroker, 2004 VW R32, and those were not my countless DD's over the years. I actually got off the supra ticket because the state trooper didnt show up and the 5 pts and 390 fine was thrown out. You probably knew these names, Josh had a supra, Theo, Mike Ma with the black 3000GT VR4 he parents owned Lotus, Obviously the Efantis's, Mark at the movie theater, Robbie ( blue 92 GT) and Dave Sanders (Easter egg purple 90 Mustang GT), Mike Cooper (300ZX TT). Those were some of the people I knew back then.

Now I rarely just hang out with people from my old dealership and friends they know.

I can't put a face on you, but some of those cars seem familiar. I know a couple of those names as well.......its been a while since I have seen any of them though. I never stop on 40 any more because I can't stand the kids out there........it is a whole different crowd than it used to be.
