Yeah, that's my problem/weakness, cutting people off..it's very, very hard for me to do. I tend to be a very forgiving/understanding person, (some of them take advantage of this), but once I make friends with someone, I almost never let them go/delete them from my phone or anything, no matter what they've done or who they are.

This may be a thing that's holding me back, and I should probably let these guys go. I may also need to reevaluate the women I want to deal with..

 

Who you choose to date/have as a partner is huge! You should concentrate on getting yourself on track first though before ever even worrying about a women.

A successful women wants a successful man, having someone who is successful by your side keeps you on track and helps you to push yourself to be more successful.

 

I've cooked/steamed crabs dozens of times. Never heard that saying but makes a lot of sense

No offense, but I don't think Whites or even Asians do this to each other. I've never heard of a successful White dude get called a sell out when he moved into a house that didn't have wheels on the bottom.

 

I have never seen it to that degree but I have definetly seen where people hate on the person that is more succesful or will try to knock everything that they do in an attempt to bring them back down on their level.

I have also seen people stop hanging out with someone more succesful because they take it the wrong way and think that the other person is "too good for them"

I also grew up in the ghetto though and worked very hard to get myself out and to be succesful. Maybe it has to do with where you come from moreso

You only need to "get serious" when you're trying to find a wife: which I doubt is happening at 21 yrs of age.
