Cuz it looks good, and that's the way we like our cars? Idk. Why do you remove your spoiler? Or want a front mount? Or any other mod anyone does to their car? Cus u like it that way.

It is probably one the most counter-productive mods IMO.
It's the way the Z's built. It looks better when it's closer to the ground. You got to remember.. afterall your upgrade WRX is a rally car and ours is more track car styling so there's a big difference there in terms of what looks good for the 2 cars.
That's kinda an "apple to oranges" comment. You can make a WRX look like or behave like a rally car and never "rally" it. But those mods aren't gonna create unsafe driving conditions, and cause you to constantly have to alter your driving habits because a .5 degree upgrade into the gas station will cause you to rip off your front lip. Or keep you from drivng anywhere that won't allow you to go around speed bumps.
It "looks cool" yes, but honestly tell me a "slammed" Z can go anywhere a stock or lowered Z can go.

Do whatever the hell you want with your own car.
I can see the benefits of both:
350Z looking mean and sic low low and modded:

WRX looking mean, lowered buy rallye height and modded:

I'm not really big about looks. I'm more of a function over form.

Yes it looks good but going low is not always functional! I removed the spoiler because its fugly and looks better without it. I want the front mount because its fuctional, we all know warm/hot air raises, heat soat ftl.

Chen, u explained exactly why. U removed ur spoiler (which is for form, not function btw) and the front mount is for function. I bet my low z can out handle a stock height, or lowered z. And it looks good. My point is though, that we all do different things, just cuz that's what we like on our cars.not much more to it than that.
Going stupid low (like Michael did...yea I'm gonna pick on you) is a perfect example of form over function. I rode from VA to MD in that car and it wasn't the nicest ride I've ever had.
Remember this, though: Lowering your car can be remedied by other suspension work (which I believe you have Rob). You can't just lower the center of gravity and be done. You have to pretty much redo or fix the suspension so the car is used to having a lowered center of gravity. This is only to a certain extent though. That red car in that pic has no possible chance of having good suspension capabilities.
I don't think Chen really goes out and rally's much. He also doesn't drive 140mph down the highway. His wing has no function the way he drives his STi. That wing's downforce was made to kick in after 110mph or so in a straight line. And, if those wings are functioning, they look stupid. Point of story: he wasn't wrong to remove his wing.
