Default Tire Install in Columbia

Its been a long time since I posted in MidA.

I am about to buy Bridgestone Potenzas RE050A Pole Positions for my Z with Nismo wheels. Has anyone bought at Columbia Costco and had an issue?

If one buys at Tirerack, where do folks in Columbia get it installed?

Thanks.

I can tell u where NOT to go. SEARS Auto @ the Columbia Mall. They forgot to tighten my adjustable camber rods and made me ruin a brand new pair of FALKENS and couldn't replace them with the same tires. I'm in for this as well, where do Columbia people go for this????

especially if you run aftermarket wheels.

i dont want some half-*** punk kid almost ASE certified ruining my $4K Volks.

Trust the professionals when it comes to your important parts.

If its stock 17s or 18s, then you could probably get away with a regular tire shop, but im telling you, HILLS GARAGE or ELITE IMPORTZ

Elite is in Laurel, cant be that far from Columbia.

Hills Garage!!! its not even 20min away and Frank will treat your wheels like his own. There is even an alignment shop right around the corner they can set you up with and the guy who does alignments is great!!

he did mine and I have about a million adjustments to make.

Yup, you gotta remove the spare to fit two in the hatch and a tight squeeze for two in the passenger seat. Cant remember if I had to remove the seat or not, but I def did it.

borrow a friends's car to transport tires if you can. Otherwise, like someone else posted, you can ship the tires to the shop as well (but make sure you give them a heads up)

Thanks for all the info.

I got new tires from Radial Tire in Silver Spring, MD. They installed into on my Nismo rims and also swapped the TPMS. They did a great job and on top of that they, fix flats, balance and rotate tires for the life of the tires.

I got the Bridgestone RE050A PP because they had the stiffest sidewalls other than Michelin PS2's. I didnt want compromise on performance, people get crappy tires and spend all the money on rims.

I havent gotten the alignment done yet. Waynes auto in Laurel, MD might be the place I will go to.

Other places dont do alignment like Hills Garage or Elite Importz.
