Honda and Sudaru forums huh? And what exactly are the "adult" car owner forums saying? Most of us Z owners grew out of Honda's back in the late 90's or so. I personally don't need recognition or prise from the Honda and Sudaru groups that are made up of mostly kids anyway.
Once upon a time the Z owners used to be thought of as a higher caliber of owners and car enthusiast and now that the Z's value has depreciated to a level where any kid with a part time job at McDonalds can afford one we start seeing thrashed and trashed out Z's that people (mostly kids) confuse with being cool. Well IMHO NOT.
Adults don't confuse Stupid with Stylish, that's somethings kids do.
If I wanted a Honda I could have no less than 10 sitting in my driveway for what it cost to buy my Z new and the cost of my past and current mods. It's not like I don't know any better either. I used to own one of the first B16A engine swaps in the 93 Honda Civic DX in the country before I sold it and bought a 93 Nissan 300zxTT. Somewhere between the Civic and the 300zx I grew up.

NOTE: I know that my post seem to come off as a little aggressive sounding in tone. I really tried not to be. I made every attempt not to sound like a A$$Hole as much as I could. I appologize if I offend.

I dont think this thread should turn into a Z or Z driver bashing thing.... Kinda seems like trying to rub one out while wearing burlap gloves....

I think the Z looks mean and aggressive. I bet the cornering speeds have been bumped up. Thats what these cars are all about anyways. People making them into drag cars and bragging out 1/4 times...come meet us on some back roads with your 800HP beast and get you feelings hurt by a stock HR..lol

My G is heavy and luxurious with a SC under the hood. I can drive over speed bumps and I rock 21 inch rear rims and tires...to each their own.

the OP asked a question about camber and offsets and this thread is talking about everything from the dudes sideskirts to his detail job....geesche.

this is why I ALWAYS choose to do something different...I refused to be a clone like the rest of you followers.

thumbs up for being different....

and to answer the question about tires rubbing...no they dont rub...as the springs compress the upper part of the tire goes inside or towards the center of the car. It will not rub as long as the rim itself does not rub, but according to the offsets it will not... not if BB1314 adds another .4 inches he may not get so lucky and might require a fender tug, flare, modification t get them to fit.

Dude needs some new gloves IMO

A good example of proper stretched tires is . . .
2010 LP640
Front Tire Size
P245/35ZR18 - 18 x 8.5
Rear Tire Size
P335/30ZR18 - 18 x 13

but I would say 18s look like Poo on our cars...the rims need to be 19 or 20....so its all a matter of opinion...I just dont like how those who dont like something in a thread feel the need to express so so so so so so so much OVERKILL opinionated responses....why even post in the tread...troll and hate in your own thread. lol

I love the Z site, I forgot about the MID A DRAMA....thats why I stay on G35driver...and the fact that I drive a G.

see the Z is now in the same class as the subbie and honda..

Adults at least drive a G, then its a M5, Supra, NSX, Ferrarri 599, CTSV, or R8 s v10 option, or GT3.

because the Gs are now at the "i just got out of college and have a job" class... I went extreme with mine to set it apart.

next step...09+ SC CTS-V, pulley upgrade 650RWHP, 4dr, Nav, Trunk, and Brembos to die for.

4SHIZZIL,
I apologize if my comment offended you. I happen to like your G very much from all the pics I've seen. Very nice. Very different.

Me too I just don't like the cars in this thread. I still think stretched tires on wheels that stick 2 inches outside the fenders is idiotic. But hey that’s just my opinion right? I don't expect anyone to agree with me. I just wouldn't do it that all.
