a coil pack just let go!!! Does anyone have a spare I could borrow/buy on short notice (like within the hour!!) I'm pretty much screwed as for my fathers day plans unless I can get one!!

how do you know the coil pack went out or is malfunctioning.

 

It will overheat and a bubble in the plastic will form under the connector. Car immediately runs like @ss, throws misfire codes and CEL blinks. I found the bad one by unplugging them one at a time (or using cylinder test in Osiris/Cipher).

 

They will also smell "burned" as well.

 

Does anyone locally have an extra one laying around? I figured I would ask before I order one.
