sidewannabemustangventcoversG2G!!!!
but that hood has always seem a little ricey for me because of the vent style in the middle.
the decal can be easily removed on you dont end up liking it.

I think if you have the entire Nismo kit/wing/wheels then the stickers work.
Under no circumsdance do those headlight covers or side window covers work though, they are tacky and put off an image I wouldnt want.
The hood is functional for your setup so it works.
This is YOUR car though, so in the end you shouldnt care what we think, so long as your happy.

^Thank you on the paint. My buddy paints for a local body shop. He does really good work. As for the decals I like them. They seem to stand out. To me it looks really good with the DB paint. Do you guys see the window louvers? I have never seen them in person on another z. I am a guy who likes to be different. I am not a ricer, but to me different is good. I know the z is a awesome car right from nissan but to each thier own. I laid a decal on the hood and to make it work is going to take someone who really knows how to lay vinyl right where it needs to go. It will go right over 3 of the louvers on the hood, plus those louvers are cut to allow air out. I think it might be a disaster waiting to happen. I dont want to ruin the decal or let the hood look aweful.
+1 on a full shot with the louvers. Unless you have a picture of really hot lesbian louvers then a close up works.
Ive seen this car in person and was sad to park my daytona blue next to it. The paint is flawless on it. And the pictures you took dont do the headlight covers justice. They look really cool in person.
Also, The Nismo theme on this car is flawless. Everything is tastefully done in regards to the wheels/decals etc. I think adding the decal would hurt to keep the theme.
I dont like the louvers as they sit now. I think id have to see it in person. My first reaction is no...
Someone said the fitment was bad.... It looked like the hood wasnt closed. I think some better pictures are needed to make good judgements.
Over all I think this car is great.

Are the louvers [sp?] just something snapped on for show like the headlight covers? It's bad enough trying to use those little side windows to look out and try and merge left/right. I couldn't imagine driving to a meet with those things on.
And +1 to Berto's comment. It's your car, if you want to be different I say go for it. However, if you start sporting my customized "Swirl mark" paint job I might be a little upset.....

Guys thank you for all the polite comments on my car.
I did expect to hear a lot of mixed opinions. I dont mind criticism, as long as its constructive. People sometimes are just plain rude. I made a few calls today and found a place who supposedly does awesome vinyl work in Hagerstown. I plan to get the rubber seal on the front edge here in the next couple days. Work is really busy! With the paint, or maybe the holes arent drilled big enough from VS. I couldnt get it to snap in. So I will need to slightly hone them out. The same for the prop stand hole. Then I will get some better pics of it out in the sun.
I do agree that at the wrong angle the side louvers look somewhat out of place. But from a side view I think they look nice. As of right now I dont think I will be using them but I have my heart set on installing the Nismo decal on the hood. Again, thank you to everyone for your nice comments. The guys/gals I have meet on here are so nice. I am so glad I was able to get down to the city to meet you all in person. Robert

Robert,
Ditch the side window pieces, the car looks amazing as always. The "nismo r-tuned" takes away from the cleanliness of the car a bit imo but again, your car. Hope all is well.

Okay... I'm eating my words... It was just the angle of the other pic. The hood actually looks really nice in these pics, the center vent doesn't throw me off anymore. Love it man , I'm jealous, can't wait to get my vented hood next month!!!

If the window louveres werent so chunk I think they may be ok. I think they just stick out a little too far. Seems to mess up that line of the car.
The thing looks great no matter what you decide man. I cant wait to get my hood painted. How much was it roughly to have them do it?
