So a bunch of us were talking on the random chit chat forum and realized a lot of us are looking to get some body work done. I am in the process to get a list of body work needed. Then I will go ahead ask around the local body shops and see if they'd offer us any special rate.

when i first brought my car in to BASE for my bodykit [when Goof's car was also getting done] Chris said the shop's bread/butter is insurance jobs [accidents, hit-n-runs] and that they take on specialty work only on the side when they have time. If we can honestly get a group deal one thing I'd suggest is some kind of grouping list. Like 3-4 cars go in for work, they get done and then 3-4 more, etc... BASE isn't that big [storage wise] and if all of us are parked over there [even though it's fenced in] I think the temptation to strip a bunch of highly modded Zs would be a little too great. Just my 0.2....

 

Very good point. Well at this point BASE is def not the only option. I have quite a few shops in mind that I'm going to deal with. I understand we all have schedule differences and no way in hell 10+ cars will be dropped at a shop at the same time. My idea is to maybe for all the committed members for this group deal to all get an official quote, then get a % discount, then put a % deposit down to the shop and we'll spread out the schedule. Some of us DD our Zs', some of us don't. So for the ones that don't, we'll just be flexible about it.

 

I might need a repair done on my daily, if the rate is right, add me.

Kevin has ORDERED me too raise the bar above the normal discount for all Z/G members!! I've talked him into a 15% discount for the cars that we can do.

With that being said... bb1314, hottoddyo and ZS14, a FULL respray would cost ALOT more than just reapinting a hood or bumper; especially because it would involve a full breakdown of all componets and individually repainting and blending them. Due to efficiency reasons and costs, we may not be the shop that your looking for.

As for the other 11 of you, we would just need to see the vehicles, and its on!! 3 or 4 at a time would be great!

Good looking out Tom! In alternative I might just have the front bumper repainted. I'm going to let this sit for a couple more days to gather up a big enough group to fully utilize this discounted service offering.
