Drift Nirvanas 9/4-5
Yeah he had a little trouble keeping the car on the track at the beginning loop on the back side. His car would start to drift and keep on drifting into a 180. He spun out lots of times from the runs I saw him do. At least it will be back on the road soon.

I think it'd a good idea, better to have people practicing on the track, as opposed to the street,
however people should know when they are driving above their skill set... otherwise things get dangerous

to answer some questions, they do have instructors, theres a class they do that is mandatory to attend the events, also if its your first time, they only let you drift in one course, wen they see that you have built your skills, and that your being safe , they allow you drift in the other courses, o and i mean everyone knows there running a risk, thats why u know your limits. good luck in fixing the Z man.
WOW i been slacking on the posts. but to fill every1 in on whats up the cars getting put back together out my own pocket.Ive got all the main parts on order from stillen and a few other online sites and only have a few other odds and ends to order. When i crashed i didnt have the front bumper or the carbon fiber hood on the only body damge was my passenger side front fender. The front crash bar sandwiched the subframe into the radiator, fans, S/C heat exchanger all the way up to my engine pulleys. Not all the pulleys need to be repalced and the motor is fine everything lines up perfectly the only issue i had was the frame ends bent to the right. I got it to a body shop that got it on a frame machine and bent it straight. I am having the front bent ends cut off after they get straightend and the whole front will get a nasty custom built tubed front frame that will wrap into my wheel wells The suspension wasnt touched everything is fine with it. The air bags did go off but im not worried about them too much. im going to go with a race wheel with a quick release hub. as for the big a$$ hole in my dash from the passenger side airbag im relocating my gauges into a custom made fiberglass pod cluster that will take up that whole section. Im not worried about resale value cuz i never plan on selling my car so im taking the airbags out. I only had 2 anyways (BASE MODEL) plus my racing harness kept me in my seat when the airbags went off and they didnt even touch me. the reason i crashed was i caught dirt on the rear wheels and slide out at around 50mph comming out of a turn. the wheels were spining at 70mph but i wasnt going that fast when i hit the dirt and slide into the wall. this was my 2nd drift nirvana and i was spinning out alot. i think it had to do with my wheels. the wheels i have r 18 inch rotas and i had 19inch mayas b4 at the last event. there is a big weight dif between the 2 and the rotas drift alot easier in comparison and i was getting used to the feel of the car with them on it when i ate the wall. Drift nirvana is the best time ever if you like drifting, sick 1 off custom cars, go karting and partying with your friends. the $100 bucks is worth it if you wanna drift for 2 days and use the skid pad for general admin its only $10 to watch all weekend and $20 to just use the skid pad. As for knowing your limit and driving abilty you find it out when you get going(drift nirvana is considerd driver improvement). Its a safe place that allows you to learn to drift and perfect it and try differnt ways to drift with out putting others in danger like on a public road or parking lot. It was only my 2nd event and im still learning il have it down soon enough tho with these new wheels. The people at summit point r very cool and more than helpful and do show you how to drift and what to do when and have people to ride with you if you want, plus when you crash and break stuff the shop and other drifters are more than helpful with helping you out with loaning tools and parts or fixing your car or even trailoring it home when you crash like i did (didnt need the help tho AAA gave me 100mile free tow AAA FTW). but yeah any1 who wants to learn how to drift and be a better driver def something to check out
