Mid-A Random-ness Discussion Thread: the Zequel
Shin why dont you stop with the 'im going to make money on youtube crap"??
You want to make money on beats, whatever, you also want to be a paid street racer.
My channel now has more views than prolly yours and Jeff's combined, I dont do it for the money IMO thats gay and takes the fun out of the car scene/HOBBY. Even if I made money on YT big deal Id be able to pay my cell phone bill with, and annoy myself to death with advertisements every time I show someone a video.
A 13 second Z will not make you $$$, you listen to one guy on YT and suddenly you think anyone can make out well. Stop talking about it and do it, or stop talking about it and continue to NOT do it. Either way stp withthe whole YT = money fiasco. The $hit gets old man, you still havent changed your somewhat immature mentality on things.

I wonder how much YouTube brings in. I've never looked into it since it's all rolled together with other sites I have. Pretty sure it's 1-2% of my monthly ad revenue.
Can I have an honest answer on the whole Shin thing:
So Shin takes a sampling of something from youtube (song, choir like voices, whatever). Something that someone made but didnt add "rights" to. He then takes that and puts it into a beat he has made using a computer program. He then takes what he has made, adds his own "rights to it" (adding a voice over or whatever). Finally he takes this "package" and sells it for money on you tube. But it is now his, because whatever sampling was done was from stuff that someone else didnt assign rights to?
Im not being an ***. I just want to follow along with what is going on.

I'm curious as well, but I really want to hear more about this 'paid street racing' thing.
Because if I can make more money up front racing fools for money, pinks, and respect on the streets I'm saying the hell with this sitting behind a desk for 9 hours a day crap.
Bert, do I need to be a part of a team or crew or should I just randomly start challenging folks at stoplights?

Eh, the whole YouTube partnership street racing thing, I mean it'd be nice, and even though my racing channel has more views than my music channel, I have actually made more money from my music channel than AdSense with the racing channel. And after texting you, I decided it wasn't really a great idea anyway, and that I should focus more on my music channel..(which actually generates money.)
So thanks for talking me out of it.
Yeah man the entire "be paid to street race" thing was a little over the top even for you.
I just feel like you take one step forward then two steps back with the stuff you say sometimes lol.

I'm joking but on a serious note:
Yeah, when I told my friends my racing channel was back up, and they went to it, they told me they didn't even feel like watching the videos anymore because of the ads that get played before some of them. Some of these ads are close to a minute and can't be skipped.
So it's kinda like..what's the point of adsense/partnership if no one is going to watch your actual VIDS?
I'll just be happy with selling mixtape beats for $50-$100 a pop.
I wonder how much a Pharmacy Tech makes now. Jesus thanks bert
