For 775 in the marketplace. Anyone have any thoughts on why should/shouldnt do it?

Im looking for drivability with a little more grab etc. Not looking to go crazy

Thanks for the heads up man.

If you could hear my car now you would understand Im not worried about chatter. I have tranny whine (crazy loud) and clutch chatter so bad right now its crazy. Im getting a "new" cd009 and new clutch. Ive never heard normal so I think it will be great.

Get ACT instead, you won't regret it.. 10x better. JWT I believe is a rebadge of another clutch.

Ive heard a lot of cons about the ACT clutches. My over all feeling is that a decent amount of people have not liked them.

personally, my view on ACT clutches 5 years ago was that they were crap and not worth the $$$.

i've only heard good things about JWT, but no first hand experience.

i've had jwt clutch and flywheel and you will like it very much. pedal feel is great, not too heavy, and it revs like crazy.

I had a JWT clutch/FW combo back in the day, it was a great setup. It held almost 400ft/lbs just fine for a little while while I Ran it at that level. I then sold it to a friend and he ran 100 shot on it, launched on slicks, powershifted all the time, it never missed a beat.

Solid setup IMO

LOL

New Years day 07' IIRC I started up my freshly TN setup Z, myself and 2 friends installed it over 3 days of d!cking around and b!tching about being in a freezing garage.

Ahh good times

All that work and 3000 miles later...BOOM

The rest is history...

Default Jwt fly/clutch combo

Had them now with 30k miles and would recommend them...Consider a metal lined clutch line...No fade ever..

I have the ACT clutch and flywheel street version and seriously it feels 100% like stock except it grabs a lot harder. 0 chatter/noise for me.

I also have the JWT combo. It chatters but it's otherwise great.

I track my car a lot and the flywheel has made rev-matching much easier. (It also took ~.4 seconds off our 31 second test-and-tune course.)

That will work. I looked at alternatives such as:

Competition Clutch Stage 2 - Street Series 2100 Clutch Kit $445

Competition Clutch Flywheel - Forged Ultra Lightweight Steel Flywheel $431

but can not beat your price.
