As some of you here know I had a hell of a year and had to go through open heart surgery, Im happy to say that Im doing great now and all that is behind me. I was lucky and had good insurance and a good support group.

Mended Hearts reps met me and my family at 5:30am to my surprise as I checked in for my surgery for support and were there when I woke up after. They were very informative and caring. Unlike myself some people have no family or support and that would really suck to go through alone, but Mended Hearts is there for everyone going through something like this with support,information,time and a heart pillow that was a huge help for when you sneeze or cough.

I was thinking of doing a Baileys-Williamsburg run to New York Deli for lunch and taking up donations for Mended Hearts chapter 119 that will delivered to Riverside Hospital.

I will be up for doing something like this, I know myself how much it helps to have people support you and push you through hard times.

 

Sounds like a good idea for Spring 2011. Its freezing out now. Ice, snow, not much fun.

Mike you know Im down and consider yourself my extended family bro. Although I dont know you so much on the personal (favorite food, type of lady type) you have been around for sometime and always speak the truth. My door is always open and I am down to run along side your Nissan anytime man.

I am doing a Wheels To Heal on May 14th, 2011, so lets schedule it BEFORE or AFTER that time. The College Park Meet is HUGE and is the last weekend in May too. So March or April is wide open...spring starts early.

Ill make sure NGC puts this on our calendar. We are regrouped and ten times more organized in 2011, more than every before..look for us to be posting dates well ahead of time for events. I will talk to them to add support to your charity event.
