Default Clean bronze Nismo wheels

How does one clean bronze Nismo wheels that have spots from salt and brake dust. I didnt have the guts to clean wheels for the past 2 months and now when I cleaned them this past weekend, there are salt spots that I cannot get out. Any suggestions?

metal polish isn't a good idea on a painted finish. That is better for bare aluminum.

This is simple matt finish paint. I advise against an aggressive polish - it will make a big mess. For matt finish I have had good luck with Black Magic.

I've used it on my bronze Nismo wheels and my bronze Volk TE37s with no issues. Don't believe me? Ask these professionals:

Meguiars just released a wheel polishing kit that is safe on all wheel types. Comes with everything you need. I'd try that especially since its like 25 bucks and you can get it at advanced auto or autozone. A lot of the products people mentioned here must be ordered online and aren't cheap. Good luck!

Meguiars is usually good especially their pro line. Worth a shot but if u spend $25 and it does nor work......... , It is a gamble either way. A wheel wax will help after the polish. The wax helps shine, protect and hide imperfections. Looks like you have a lot of salt erosion and pitting. May end up at a wheel shop. Good luck!
