Default Any Good Paint Shops in the DC, MD Area?

My Z is nearly 5 years old. It only has 25K on it but the front is starting to show a lot of road rash (bumper, hood, front fenders). I also have a few tiny paint chips on the sides where a small pebble must have grazed the paint.

I'm thinking of taking it into a paint shop and having them repaint the bumper, hood and front fenders and detail the sides if that's possible. Does anyone know of a good professional paint shop in my area? I don't want to take it to just anybody but someone who has a good reputation for skill and quality.

I live in Silver Spring, MD just north of DC.

Thanks

Well there have only been about 5 of these threads over the past couple months... if none of those have helped you yet I doubt this thread will be of much use.

My thread was moved here from the Exterior/Interior forum section. There are not "a lot of threads like this in the past couple months" there. Why would I look for answers to a paint question in the Mid-Atlantic section? Intuition alone suggests going to the Exterior/Interior section for paint questions. Cut me some slack people. The only reason this thread is here is because I asked for some suggestions local to where I live but it's still not the first place I would go to ask. Jeez.

Thanks for the tip. I gave them a call and talked for about 45 minutes. I will go with them when the time comes. They will repaint the bumper, hood, front fenders, and both doors for roughly $3K based on what I told them over the phone.

Saw your car on the site...nice. Mine is stock Daytona Blue with the OEM chrome 5 spoke wheels. Never really felt the need to change anything. When all shined up, the car pops! I only drive it about 5K a year so at this rate it will have 60K when it's 12 years old.

Fantastic! I agree with you about how the car pops! Daytona blue is def one of my favorite colors! I went extreme because I wanted some change from my old set up and I'm an extreme character...I got into an accident last winter so it expedited my upgrades!

I decided to go with D&V after all. They specialize in exotic cars and have an incredible reputation. They also beat the Base Autobody estimate I got without knowing it by about $400. I'm getting the entire front half of the car done and having a clear bra installed as well (Ventureshield). Dropping it off on August 13th...can hardly wait to see the results.
