Eclipse, what is the best time you have run in your Z and at what power? I bring this up for obvious reasons and because you state you can push your car.

I think I may stay out of this one. I will say one thing though. Anyone can do 1/4 mile. The Mid-A is known for the LNR's!! There are more people in the Mid-A that can drive correctly in the twisties then the 1/4 mile or highway pull, which proves nothing. Try racing someone in an LNR/Touge battle. I'm sure Eclipse you will be sh!ting bricks when you go over a hill at 57mph and...you should know the rest.

I did when i was in FL but since AAM did my tune when they were in business they threw off my tune and the car is running hella rich. it is still in the 11.8 range on the wideband but still too rich.

Anyone can go to an auto-x or road course also. It doesnt automatically make them good. Some guys drag race years and never improve, others go 10 times and are great, essentially that can be said for road racing or auto-x as well.
I respect every form of motorsport anyone participates in with a Z/G. I used to diss auto-x till a great driving friend of mine took me for a ride in his Z at one, Ive never been so scared in a parking lot!
Everyone thinks drag racing is "easy" because its a straight line, its not. Otherwise everyone would easily better magazine times. I dont see that from the Mid-A or this site in general, just excuses. Plain and simple.
Just because dragging isnt your thing, dont diss it, because in 13, 12, or 10 seconds there is so much $hit you have to get PERFECT, its not like on a road course where you take one bad line one turn, it may burn you for the next 2, ruin your lap or barely throw you off your game. Too much throttle, too slow into the clutch, into the next gear, incorrect shift points, bad launch, etc the run is over in a milisecond. Drag racing well is a skillset like any motorsport is all Im saying.
Anyone that thinks its easy meet me at the drag strip, or tell me what you run so I can laugh at you. I have mad respect for the auto-x guys, the road course guys and especially the LNR guys who do stupid $hit but are generally skilled.

ok well any dumbass can say yea i'll run on twisties but a real racer knows that you need to tune up your suspension before you end up in the wall. I like to do **** right. I love how people think that other people can't drive becasue their car isn't set up for twisties. Ask anyone that has ever been to Germany and drove on the mountain roads. They are crazy. and if you mess up your going off of the mountain. Am I an expert? NO. But it seems like a bunch of you are since your trying other people. Even with a reflash and a osiris I was told that It is dumping too much fuel. I want to go to Hills Garage and get it tuned right. Everyone has different goals when it come to their cars and can't expect a car with skinnies in the front to do twisties becasue it wasn't built for that. But like Katt Williams said " if you don't have people hatting then your not doing something right" .

Hating, implies I envy something on your car and cant have it, truth is there is nothing on your car better than mine or that I couldnt afford to pay for.
