I'll tell you what , come out to capitol raceway Saturday, temps are going to be nice, and put down a time. I will gladly run you in my slow car, and I am sure other members will want to run you as well.

I have instructed my students to never upgrade any part of their car until they have mastered & outgrown their stock settings. If you're speaking of "real racers," go to any track event, any real instructor will tell you to learn your car's stock form prior to making upgrades or "tuning" your suspension.

Any real racer can race any car with any suspension setting. You don't need coilovers, sway bars & the whole nine yards to get a good lap time or avoid running into a wall - it all boils down to how much seat time you've accumulated. (if you end up into a wall, that just means you're a bad driver)

The only thing I don't understand is: why come in here saying, "$3k or your title" yet not accept a single challenge? If you're going to talk big, back it up son!

 

When I instruct autocross schools, etc I love when I get a stock car. My car is relatively stock, but it turns very, very well. The Z33/34 is a great platform to begin with, but you can f up its strengths easily.

Im on the Duc forums (as I ride as well-and actually do track days) and Ive only ever seen 1 expert mechanic try that kit you speak of, its cheaper to go to a 1098 than to take an 848, buy the parts, intall it and tune it. If you dont even take your car on the road course chances are you don thave the skills or nuts to take your Ducati there.

The thing is that I never down talked anyones car. I have only seen Barnabas so That is why i comented on it. I don't ask people for time slips or prove this and prove that. They do what they do. Like I said I know what I can do and what I have.

 

Nobody was talking you or your car down until you started with the Vin Diesel call outs and claims. All that "I beat 500whp Evos, my 2 bottles of Nozz will get my down the highway" crap isnt for here. It may work at your car shows when zit faced kids think your car is hot $hit but not here. Since then you have only dug yourself a deeper hole. Its really that simple.
