This is to you and any others that share this sentiment.
Anyone can go to an auto-x or road course also. It doesnt automatically make them good. Some guys drag race years and never improve, others go 10 times and are great, essentially that can be said for road racing or auto-x as well.
I respect every form of motorsport anyone participates in with a Z/G. I used to diss auto-x till a great driving friend of mine took me for a ride in his Z at one, Ive never been so scared in a parking lot!
Everyone thinks drag racing is "easy" because its a straight line, its not. Otherwise everyone would easily better magazine times. I dont see that from the Mid-A or this site in general, just excuses. Plain and simple.
Just because dragging isnt your thing, dont diss it, because in 13, 12, or 10 seconds there is so much $hit you have to get PERFECT, its not like on a road course where you take one bad line one turn, it may burn you for the next 2, ruin your lap or barely throw you off your game. Too much throttle, too slow into the clutch, into the next gear, incorrect shift points, bad launch, etc the run is over in a milisecond. Drag racing well is a skillset like any motorsport is all Im saying.
Anyone that thinks its easy meet me at the drag strip, or tell me what you run so I can laugh at you. I have mad respect for the auto-x guys, the road course guys and especially the LNR guys who do stupid $hit but are generally skilled.

Why dont you save all this jibberish and just answer my 2 bolded questions/request from before?
Hating, implies I envy something on your car and cant have it, truth is there is nothing on your car better than mine or that I couldnt afford to pay for. Not only that, you came in here with an attitude like you can beat legit cars (500whp Evo's) and the truth is you cant, I'll hook you up with less powerful Evos than 500whp who would mop the road with your car.

C'mon guys let's keep it nice in the mid-a.
Everyone has different taste,opinions and so on.
Some people like looks and some are function but that doesn't mean we can bash on one another.

Ok Alberto you say to spell check but you need to learn how to read. I didn't day 4 miles I said 4 days. I didn't address anything towards you. if your not hatting then why are you addressing that issue?? I have nothing to prove to you or anyone else as far as having to answer any questions. I don't care what you can or can't afford. I do this for me and no one else.
Since you brought up how you like to push your car and can whoop 500whp Evo's, what do you run in your Z and with what mods?

I'll take your challenge....for fun or bragging rights.
In an effort to make it fair.....we do a dual event. First, drag racing. Second, an autocross. Best combined time wins. We could sub a track day for the autocross, but I am not entirely sure your car could pass tech with all that show car gear on. It is also inherently less safe. I don't really care if I ding my car up, you have much more at stake money wise with all your show stuff.

This guy with his claims, his BS bets, his talk of having a quick car, I am merely pointing out he is out of his league, and shouldnt talk $hit in other areas of the car world he clearly has little knoweldge or experience in, ESPECIALLY in the Mid-A. 350whp with a $hit tune telling people to bring out $3000?
He is being treated nicely by a wake up call online, in person in front of a group of people getting yanked by 10 cars by 3rd gear is much worse

Fact is Eclipse...he just pointed everything that is fake about what you say and post here. You have a poser Ducati and an excuse filled "show car" SLASH "street beast/EvoEater" that needs fine tuning on the suspension before you make turns...come on man...Really?. You got yourself into trouble when you got butt hurt over a comment about neons being "ricey".
This has got nothing to do with racing/drag racing, practice/amateur/professional...none of it.
I have an appreciation for all types of cars...I used to run the show circuits with my Z...then...I got sick of looking at it and prefer driving it (although I admit to slacking lately). You're in here with guys who have been doing this for a long time and can't stand people who "Big Talk" themselves...BS...then make excuses. There will ALWAYS be a car better/faster/prettier/more mods etc than yours.
Also, you pretend you know more than you actually know and that's REALLY rubbing people wrong.

ok to all. everyone really knows me. and my duck has a 1040 upgrade short stroke updraded rod bearings, bigger heads and more upgrades. do your research before you THINK people are posers.
