Default Cleanest sil-eighty I have seen in person.

Hey,

I have seen one of the cleanest sileighty conversions in my life on a Shop in VA.

The owner took a 240sx and built a drift car with a RB25 skyline engine swap!

Then, his brother had an accident with the car on a drifting even and he changed the setup to a dedicated track car.

Now they are thinking about switching the RB25 into his brother's 240sx.

Which is also a sileighty conversion they made because the red 240sx is being ranked to race against Vipers and other $100k cars on the track...

I do not know if they are make a drift car out of it since they already have a Mazda pick up truck for drifting that was on Drift Nirvana a couple of weekends ago O.o

This is the first time I see a 240sx track car with a RB25 engine in person. Lately, the only nice cars I see around are the Goofmobile, the EthanMobile and Anh's Ricemobiles.

Im thinking about selling the Z and getting a 97 240sx Kouki so I can spend the money I would spend on the loan into parts!
Although... I do not know how good would they be on Autocross... since that would be its main objective.

Well. Like I said. Cleanest 240sx I have seen in person

I have always liked black on red cars. I had an eclipse with the same color scheme.

I am going to ask the owner if he has some videos of the car drifting or road racing. I think he was making 350hp to the rear wheels on stock everything and conservative tune.

Cool if its a track machine... ive seen cleaner as far as cosmetic in person as well. Either way if the car is being driven the way its meant to be driven the rest is just cherries on top

180 refers to it being a 140sx 'hatch' not coupe.

noobs in the US interchange sil80 with sil40 too much that i dont even gripe about it anymore.

i'm no historian tho...

but i do run the 240 game in MD

if anyone needs some JDM parts imported, hit me up.

Being in the 240 scene for quite some time now I can tell you sil-80 isn't much to some of the ones in this area. Not a fan of the wheels but it is clean though. I love S13.4's though preferably.
