Default [NEED] Paintshop in the Baltimore-Washington corridor

I came back from dinner with my girlfriend a yesterday to find some punk from the neighborhood thought it would be funny to drag some sort of object down the side of my car. According to the police he decided to do it to 20 or so cars in the neighborhood over the course of the 2 days prior to that. It is a pretty deep gash not down to the metal but definitely through the clear coat and the paint and down to the white undercoating.

I'm going to go to the inspection site for my insurance company and they said they will give me an initial check for the estimated damages to bring to a body shop and if its more they will cut a supplemental check later on.

So the question to everyone is. Do you know of a good paint/body shop on the area of the Baltimore/Washington corridor? I also have a small paint chip and dent on the passenger door and a decent sized dent in the right quarter panel that I'd like to get fixed as well (although I know that is going to be extra).

Default Dropped off the car

I dropped off my Z today at base auto and I spoke with Ben, Shmaya, and Melissa(I think?). They have a couple of project cars ahead of me at the moment but I should hopefully have the car back by late Friday or Saturday morning. It seems like a damn good shop so I have high hopes for the results. They also quoted me a decent price on the other two dings that were in the right side of the car. I'll give you guys an update when i get the car back.

Default Got my Z back

I went and picked up my Z yesterday and if I didn't know there was damage to the paint I would never be able to tell. I went and picked it up and the day before it had rained most of it so they couldn't wash it. Shmaya took me out to the car not knowing how covered in dust it was and at the first glance told me it was unacceptable how dirty the car was and he couldn't let me take it the way it was. I told him it was fine but he insisted on washing the car himself. I'm very glad that you guys were able to send me to a shop where they take such pride in their work that the owner himself would wash a car before sending it away dirty. I can definitely say I'll be bringing them my car in the future when I need work done. The paint job was perfect and the large dent on the side that wasn't keyed was done so well that I couldn't begin to tell you where the dent was in the first place. I have to say that base is a damn good shop and I'd recommend them to people in the area as well.
