Default Baltimore Grand Prix Volunteers needed!!!!

Apparently the BGP folks are in dire need of a ton of volunteers to make it through the race weekend. They have asked volunteers like myself to seek out additional folks to help out. Below I will post some links with details if you are interested. As a reminder the race weekend is September 2-4 and some of the positions will require work starting the 27th.

FYI, you will have to pay $10 if you are interested, but before you react to that here is what you get for $10 (+25-hrs minimum work before or during race weekend):
-A race credential good for all three days of the race weekend
-Official BGP volunteer uniform, including an Under Armour polo shirt and a hat
-Meal vouchers for each day of the event
-Free parking for all 3 days of the event (with shuttle)
-Two complimentary, upgradeable Baltimore Grand Prix general admission tickets
-10% discount on the purchase of additional Baltimore Grand Prix tickets
-Invitation to a volunteer appreciation party to be held shortly after the event
-Thank You certificate and token gift

Fax/Mail-in Application and job descriptions Link (self explainatory):

Paypal site to pay:
https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/we...8cfec92c4fedc4

Another application form, but it is clitchy and doesn't work for everyone (browser sensitive apparently), when completed it should say "finished" and then take you to the paypal site. If it does not do this it will not work for you and you must use the links above:
http://baltimore.dmplocal.com/main/i...o&survey_id=75

Note that your registration is not complete until both the form and paypal payment have been received.

Additional links of interest:
BGP main website (tickets and track info as well as links to driver information etc): http://baltimoregrandprix.com/

If you have additional questions please let me know and I will do my best to answer them. You can also direct questions to the BGP volunteer staff directly at bgpvolunteers@gmail.com

Only in B-more do you have to pay to apply for a job. And they wonder why they need volunteers lol.

I'll be down there all weekend, but not working.

$10 is nothing when you consider the level of access you get plus the free gear discounted food and included parking. Work your shift and then hang out. Best coverage is still going to be from your TV.

SCCA needs people too and there's no charge but there all u get is free food and parking (maybe). We're doing the flagging like most pro events. Attend or work, you will not be disappointed! Nothing in the world sounds likes Ferrari on the rev limiter.

Not a scam, at the meeting now. There will be a second orientation meeting later in the week. I suggest if you have not heard anything yet call the number in the app form.
