Default Question

I think it might be an oil pressure problem. Dont know if anybody else has had this same problem. I have an 06 manual Z. I first realized it when shifting. When i shift into 3 gear and fourth there is a lag when pressing on the gas. It winds up now before i get that inicial power and I dont have the immediate thrust I usually have when i hit the gas. When I am idleing my oil pressure gauge in right under 30. When it is running I am right under 60. I really dont remember it ever being like that. Just wanting to make sure this sounds right. Open for suggestions. Thanks.

Is the clutch worn? Do the revs go up but the car does not go?

What color is your Z?

Well the car goes. It doesn't seem like the clutch the clutch in-gauges. AND now on my way home it idled as low as almost zero. It is red.

Maybe some clog in your injectors? Probably had a bad tank of gas? This issue sounds familiar.

Check for codes anyways. A lot of codes won't throw a light but will cause a code to show up.

Thanks guys. Ill take a look into that. Mileage is only 53,000. Just hate the feeling when something isnt running right. So just want to make sure. when idling zero is ok? never seen it that low before in the past.

Found out what the problem was. IT was my oil pressure sending unit. And my flywheel. Need a new clutch kit. Just purchased a double friction centerforce clutch kit. Thanks guys again
