That's fine. I want to get there as early as possible. The DA's are going to be nuts prior to 1030-11. Sure like to get 4-5 runs in before the air density goes up.

 

I plan to get there around 830 and run on street tires.

I'll pick up the wheels Friday night and I have a low pro jack and impact gun. Just bring your wheel lock adapter.

What is your current street tire best and at what 60ft?

 

13.147@107 with a 1.898 60ft on 265/40/18 PS2's in the rear. I had 250hp/232tq when I ran that.

I now have 272hp/242tq most of my gains are under the curve hopefully with the good air and extra power it will put me over.

I just have to fix my TB issue my exhaust leak was fixed yesterday.

Dyno is on pg 4 run 3 I ran 13.147 last yr on that tune run 25 is present tune. Run 17 (morning) is before LTH with JWT S1 cams run 25 (evening) is after installing LTH same day.

Just have to figure out the lowend drop we suspect it's the TB not opening fully.

 

Oh yeah you are going 12's....if you can hook. That's awesome for street tires.

 

Hopefully if not I got the slicks. I just want to do it on street tires. Hoping my lowend issue gets fixed because that kills my launch.

I'll have my impact gun and jack as well. I don't leave home without them in the Z. I'd like 12.70's with that DA. I ran the 13.02 with a crap 1.97 60'. Car makes about 5-10whp more now, weighs ~120lbs les, and will be on slicks instead of DR's. Of course I haven't dragged raced in a few years, but I think I can knock the dust off in a few runs.

 

Also, what size are the slicks?

 

Make sure that you heat them up.

 

I think 26x10.5 or 11.5 on 16in mustang wheels. They are light I sold them to him. I now have his welds with MT DRs.
