Shin a lot of it has to do with the type of meets. The last handful of places I met up with Z guys, it was all couples. Scott even asked to come and we told him sure but he needed a date. We didnt want a 5/7/9th wheel. Just ask Dave he even got the nope cant go unless Cindy comes. So that means 99.83% chance that it wouldnt have happened for him.

Not sure about last Thursday I saw some info about it but didnt take in any details since it was mid week and I had no chance of going.

Last time I checked your Union Jacks meet thread had a few people willing to go. Although it's not really a Z meet since its off season and chances are no one will drive their Z anyways.

Don't get so bent out of shape over meets not happening. As stated before, most people are getting older and the idea of doing massive parking lot meets is.... old.

The 350Z isnt even made anymore, it's old news. You're about 6 years too late. I avoid most of the parking lot meets now, not just because it's old news but because I feel like it's just a bunch of 16-20 year olds at them. Few street races later and the people not involved get busted for it. Remember the helicopters that showed up over the Laural meet? My guess is the time before they had street racing.

P.S the Last open meet I did was Cafe Asia 3 weeks ago. Where were you? It wast posted on the forum twice and lasted til like 3:30am that day.

We even got banned from a joint due to Anh's GF...... We go there so often too damnit.

No... Fail on my part. 8 people were coming and in the end all but 2 people from here flaked..... then 2 other friends non Z related joined in. So it was 6 of us and we stayed out til 3:30 in the morning and it was one of the best meets we've ever had.

If that happened to you I bet you would have been raising hell about how no one goes out anymore and how they left you hanging. We didn't care, we made the most of it and it was a great night.

Come to think of it, I don't think I ever said one thing about it since that night other then Alexis trying to see what shouldn't be seen.

Everyone else that was talking about going had stuff come up. That's life I understand that and never once got the slightest bit mad about it.
Even Dave blew us off for whatever reason. We didn't care, he's a busy man.

You were right, my bad. Timing is everything, and this is terrible for said reasons.

I had the crazy idea in my head today to sell my car and just buy a few bikes and start track riding (again).

One day I miss the $hit out of it and want to get back into it, the next I want to run away from it and leave it like father's day in the hood. Decisions, decisions.

 

Would be a sad day for the Z community if you did that..

 

Nah nobody would give a $hit other than me.

The car has been GREAT fun, and it has also been great pain. Financially its suicide, and no matter how I build it, or ove rbuild it things will break and thats $$$$$. Best part of owning and modding the car have been the people Ive met over the years, not to sound all gay but you cannot put a price on that.

Part of me thinks "if I cant drive it hard why own it?" Still figuring that out. I used to see the car once every 8 months, out of sight out of mind, now I see it everyday it whispers at me to fix it daily. Time will tell....
