What a trip! My wife and I flew down to Ft Lauderdale for the Orange Bowl. We got back late yesterday. I cant stress it enough how nice and respectful Clemson fans were. My wife and I had such a great time. WVU gets no respect from the nation, they use this to play with a chip on thier shoulders. Works for me, WVU now has more BCS wins (against the ACC champ, the Big 12 champ, and the SEC champion) than the entire ACC combined. If anyone has the oppurtunity to go to a BCS game for thier college do it. We had a blast the entire day. Sorry to through this out there. Just thought I would share my states victory with yall

^Jam3z, I wish some WVU fans would learn a thing or two from your fans. Not once in the entire time we were down there were we treated with nothing but respect. I even flew home sitting next to a very nice gentleman who went/played/and is a big donor to Clemson. He played on the 1980 champ season until 1983 and then played in the NFL with the St Louis Cardinals for two years before they cut him and moved to Phoenix. He explained to me how Clemson is viewed just like WVU is in the BE. As the hillbillies and rednecks of the ACC. He said they are pretty much taught at Clemson to envite other fans to your tailgate and be nice. I wish WVU was more like that.
The only negative moment I had was at the Discover fan/dinner. I recognized Jeff Bostic (I didnt know he went to Clemson) growing up a Redskin fan, even in his Clemson attire. I immediatly said OMG its Jeff Bostic and reached my hand out. He hesitated and then reluctantly shuck my hand. I then asked for a picture and as he immediately started walking away he said he would be right back. He went about 15' away to the bar and sat there never coming back. I dont know if he thought I was being a dumb WVU fan (being I was all decked out in Gold and Blue) but I truely would have loved to get his pic and an autograph for my brother who works in Springfield at the Washington Post as he is a DIEHARD Skins fan. But he rudely blew me off. That was the only negative thing in the whole trip. I thought he would have felt good that someone recognized him. Surrounded by thousands of Clemson fans one lonely WVU fan recognized him enough to ask for a picture and he just quickly walks away, shame shame.
