Default How to frankenstein stitch plastic body parts.

So I got this dead hooker in my basement.

Kidding. Some asshat backed into my car and cracked the bumper. Im bored so I wanted to stitch up the crack. Ive seen it done before. It looks like a bunch of xxxxx down the crack.

A couple questions:
1) Do you tie it off at the end?
2) What kind of stitching do you use? Some sort of plastic stuff? Where can I get it?

Your going to hate my answer.

It's zip ties, you drill each hole then you zip tie them in.

So I was gonna get a new bumper etc but some shin that cant park is just gonna hit again. I need to wait until the spring until I can get a post moved in my parking pad that way 2 cars can fit back there. Since the Z will be on the street until then I figured shinning the bumper will make me look hardcore.

Thanks man. I appreciate it. See above. Plus there is a huge hole so I dont want to try to fix it and have it look bad and make it look like i tried.... does that make sense? I think ricer hardcore is the look Im going for until it gets warm

Kinda hard to see but I was home from Afghanistan the first 2 weeks of November so I fixed this crack. It took about 5minutes and only needed to last me about 2 weeks of driving. Quick fix. I cracked my front bumper when I was on my month of leave before I left for afghanistan and was bored where I grew up in PA so I went and tried drifting and picked up alot in the 2weeks i was messing around with and I hit a turtle and it cracked my front bumper >.<
