Well, we all got the bad news today at GOLD'S Greenbelt. We'll be officially closing the doors after this Fall season. I've been a member since I moved here in '98 and although it devolved into a sh*thole after the current owners bought it from corporate I'll be sad to see it go.

The owner said he's currently devising an 'exit strategy' and will shortly begin liquidating everything not nailed down to help alleviate some the financial hell he's about to experience. So if anyone in the Mid-A is in the market for some weights, equipment, or slightly used tables/desks/chairs I'll keep you posted.

BTW, today the owner told us he took out two separate loans against his home to keep the doors open so when the gym goes he's basically going to have to move into an apartment with his wife and 3 kids.

 

I'll take a curl bar that can attach to cables. 5 finger discount?
