+1. Jeff we are riding this Sunday near my area, hard pack very fast and flowy trails, lots of technical log sections. not very hard climbs at this spot. your bike will be fine
creditkarma.com is a good site for checking your credit score for free, they don't try to annoy about signing up for another service like freecreditreport.com does and they also let you update your credit report whenever. They also have this credit simulator that lets you see what your credit score will be if something changes...like paying off all your credit cards.
620-780 = good credit Jeff?
IMO anything under 700 is not good. 620-680 is more fair to me. 681-780 is good. 781+ excellent and can get you pretty much anything within your means.
Someone recently told me they had awesome credit. 620 avg score. You may pay your bills on time, but that debt:income owns people.

My broker was talking about it awhile back, so maybe its 680?
Regardless of riding with you guys, I still need another bike, so I'm either going to get another cheap bike like my 3700 or I'll just get a nicer one and be done, if I do or don't ride big trails it still wont matter, I need something for around here.
Although I do plan on riding trails, just saying it doesnt matter either way, I need a bike.
Today I was able to put some seat time on a Mamba, Cobia, and Kahuna

The Kahunas front forks/steering was a bit tight, the tech adjusted it and made it better but even still, it felt very slow to turn. When you pick up the bike, the bars/wheel wouldn't move unless you moved them, on the Cobia and Mamba the front fork would turn with ease, just tilt the bike and it turned. The turn in when riding the Cobia felt nice and fast. The Kahuna had wider tires (maxxis), not sure if that's a plus or neg for this area. Based on the turn in alone I'd pick the trek hands down, however it seems to be the way the bike is setup.
The Columbia store has a 2012 Kahuna in stock and their other store has a 2012 Cobia in stock. On the Kahuna they can do 10% off and the Cobia they're willing to do 5% off. That puts both bikes right at the $1100 OTD range.
Btw if anyone is interested I'm going to be selling my Endless 6 pot fronts soon, hit me up.
Endless 6-pot in raw racing alumite finish on caliper and rotors.

They can't take more off the cobia? I was able to get 10% off the cobia at race pace, maybe they can match that
Manthatcantbenamed should get those brakes. They are legit.
If I do a lot of hard core down hill with jumps and drops I think I'd rather have a 26er however 95% of the time I'll be riding it cross country style so I guess it's a mute point.
I guess I should have said I'd only want a 26er if it was a full suspension bike.
I don't think I've seen a single 26er hard tail outside of the $100-500 range in any of the stores I've been to. Guess they don't sell.

But yea any of those three bikes would make a good rig
