Only time you need a DD is if your Z is FI'd. Otherwise, it's a car that's pretty standard in any dealer lot across the entire US of A that can be had for under 10k.
An NA Z is barely above an RSX. Buying a POS to keep miles off of a POS makes no sense.
Oh c'mon Bert. Ive seen you post that you miss the stock Z. Saying its an RSX is a little harsh even for you. But I agree. Buying another car to save the miles on your $11,000 Z doesnt make much sense. But I buy cars to drive them not look at them. Im weird.

^So what the f*ck do you drive when there's 10 feet of snow on the ground? Or if you need trunk/back seat space to haul some stuff? Excuse me if I missed the sarcasm, but that was dumb even for you Ahn...
I love my z, eventually will mod it. The 240 won't be modded it's just the DD. finding a perfect condition 240 is rare and I finally came accross one, so I bought it for the better gas mileage and keep the mileage down on the Z.

The original statement was to "keep mileage off the Z," nothing more nothing less. Knowing Kyle's Z is N/A, most would agree that a DD isn't necessary - plain and simple. I try to respond to statements based upon the context of the message, and not extraneous variables.
For example, If Kyle's question was based off inclement weather, need of a backseat, trunk space, zombie apocalypse, or alien invasions, etc.: then your response would make more sense since it's phrased within the context of the message and thus a DD would be more suitable for those situations over a compact sports car.
The engine looks nice on the 240 kyle. how does it run?
Runs perfect. Garaged kept, never modified, all stock parts still with the car.
Didn't realize I should have been more specific on my reasoning, figured my vague response would have been sufficient enough as a decent reason to get a DD. yes I want to keep the mileage down, yes I want a car to drive in inclement weather, yes I plan to mod the Z and figured why not pick up a DD now before I mod the Z. Driving the Z every day takes the fun out of the car and don't appreciate it as much.
When I get a DD I personally would get the most reliable, low maintenance and practical car. That's why I'm driving the xB. Hate me for rolling in a moving box, I get places with very little gas and loving the extra money in my pocket!
But seriously if Kyle loves his Z and wants to keep the mileage down, there's nothing wrong with that!
