Turbo 3 series. Great for mods. Turbo reliability with a tune is so so. HPFP was an issue that a ton of people had, they may have remedied this. When done right though they are fast, but I wouldn't chance reliability.
You looking for a 4 door? Does mod-ability matter or you just want something mature?
4 door or 2 door doesnt matter to me, 3 series is what Is in my price range, obviously whatever I buy I'm sure I will mod it in one way shape or form, that's what rivers do. But I wouldn't go all out with it.
Lol oh Andre. If you werent so close to going to the other side of the dirt Id have something for you. But...here we are, we'll play nice.
That might be sooner than you think. Check out my last couple of time slips. I put 666 as my car number. Since I like warm weather, and nasty girls, I figure they might notice it down there. Maybe they find a nice spot for me.
Be very careful with the turbo 3 series, lots of reliability issues with certain years, and you definitely want a warranty (general rule with new bimmers is enjoy them till around 50,00 miles and ditch them as the warranty expires)
got a buddy that works @ the BMW dealership, here's what he had to say about the turbo 3 series:
"WORST piece of $h!t car I've ever worked on. I lost count of how many of them come in for recalls/$h!t breaking. It's the MOST frequently serviced car here!!!"
With that being said, get some super good warranty, and don't mod it.
