If I wasn't going home to Arkansas I'd do it for free, not much of a beer person. Be sure to disconnect the battery so the airbag doesn't sock you in the face and get two srs resistors if you havent already. What setup/combo you go with?

Btw you'll need a special key/socket to remove the aibrag. It's a star shaped pattern with a stud in the middle.

Trying not to get a V8 but those C63 are nice. Maybe I just want a factory turbo car that's "mod friendly" right from the box. I have always owned NA cars (beside the few months of owning the SR20DET 240, that doesn't count tho). Although it would be nice if it was "luxury" as well, heated leather seats, sun roof etc.

 

C63 without a turbo would rape your *** driving it, if you pushed the car hard, you WOULD nickel it. At least unless you took some track days and had some training on how to handle it.

Even Jeremy Clarckson was having issues keeping it straight in the RS4 vs M3 vs C63 shoot out. That's why he loved the car so much, it was ready to kill him anytime he put his guard down.

M3 wasnt anything like that, all the computers kept it GTR like....

So you want a 3 series with a turbo so it will be easy to mod, you will mod it, blow it up, warranty will deny the repair work and you will have to pay 15-20k out of pocket for a new motor.

Unless your have zero debt outside of a house, a big stock pile of savings enough to cover all bills plus your house payment for 6 months and are making well over 100k a year, buying a daily driver, a soon to be modded 335...... You'll nickel your self to death as

Rule of thumb I've lived by since buying my z back in 2004. If I can't afford to make AT LEAST double payments, I can't afford the car.

from what you are describing, and your hesitance to get some the V8 cars mentioned, just get an Evo X.

Factory turbo, mod potential, awd, and comes with leather sunroof etc..... obviously its not a marquee car like a Benz or bimmer, but your pocket will thank you
