[NSFW] Mid-A Epic Random-ness: Third Encounter

I was actually really surprised AAM dared venture (let alone start a thread!) in the land of Mid-A again knowing their history w/ this region... Khoi must've not been briefed before getting hired.
(hint: search keyword "AAM" filter by "Mid-Atlantic") Some pretty epic threads still exist!
^ thought so too; there's only so much dirt you can sweep under the rug before it becomes a mound.
Anyone can even type in "Altered Atmosphere Motorsports" in Google and a whole buncha "stuff" comes up. Hell, look at the first 2 links.

haha shop reputation is always an entertaining topic. I've read plenty of threads concerning altered and/or AAM, afterall it is the same owner
the shop has cleaned house and has all new employees, this can be looked at in either direction but let's move on
if you don't like AAM that's fine, doesn't bother me, our parts still sell worldwide

Anyone know what he's doing these days? Maybe started his own shop? Heard that's the on-going trend.
Yes it's possible. It's usually not worth the time and money. My parents had a HUGE case over a privacy fence they threw up when non were allowed.
Fawk your community man. I'm still mad over the tow incident. (not at you)
Why anyone gives those jokers the power to control the inside of your house is beyond me.

Nothing wrong with an HOA, just gotta read the fine lines and know when you're in an ok HOA and when you're in a shitty one.
A few houses I looked at had shitty HOAs. One of the houses I really wanted to bid on, but never did due to the HOA being so tight. Parking was a big issue, could not park in the street unless it was at the club house. Anyone coming over would have to park at the club house and walk to the house. The HOA hired off duty police officers and tow truck guys to be there 24/7 to tow anyone and or ticket anyone for doing anything the HOA didn't like.
Currently I'm in an HOA neighborhood and so far (knock on wood) I haven't had any issues, its been well within reason.
I also read the fine print before buying the house and know what I can and cannot do....
Clay, if its not in writing you should be able to fight it although I bet your HOA has that you cannot add/remove anything that can be seen from the outside without first getting it approved by the HOA. If its something on your windows, it can be seen from others so..........

From a buisness stand point I like HOA's because they spec our products and colors but from the home owner perspective I would hate to be told what I can and cannot do.
