I moved here in '98 and one night while coming back from the movies, my friend and I got surrounded by a bunch of ricers with underglow kits and fart can exhausts. I told her to follow them, but she gave me the face and told me how retarded they all looked.

/end cool stoy

Lol true, ridiculous that all of us used to roll there, yet no one knew each other.

Those really were the golden years, doubt a scene like that will ever truly surface again, if it did I would definitely check it out for nostalgia's sake...then immeadiatly leave once the heavy rice moved in

FYI I used to live in Dundalk back in high school and lived right on Merrit Blvd. Good times.

Fast and the Furious really exposed it all, from that moment on, the Cops and media couldnt let it go as they had done for decades in certain spots.

Metro was the best when everyone scattered back to their cars lol

I have 25+ High 8 and Mini DV tapes from HS and the few years after of street racing, drinking, back roads hooliganism lol

Im scared to watch some of those I cringe at the $hit we did and taped.

LOL, I remember pulling into the lot when that mustang was getting pulled over.
Nothing these days beats 98-01. Metro was the most fun when the cops showed up, that was half the reason why we even went. One guy yells, "five-oh! FIVE-OH!!!" and you see 300+ cars scattering like cockroaches in all different directions.

Yuup F&F basically destroyed the whole scene, not only from the media exposure, but also from the huge influx of ricers that joined the scene and tried to emulate the movie/ lifestyle and just ended up endangering people's lives

And yea the metro mass rollouts were always epic

5hin is a F&F poser

**** would have died of happiness back in the day, although forever alone, he would have had a better car/race scene to enjoy.

After an accident or two. The whole group might have written him off as a guy that would bring down the whole group.

It was crazy when the main area of the lot would fill up and the over flow went into the Starbucks lot. Rows of civics rows of 200sx rows of eclipse..... A supra here and there.
