[NSFW] Mid-A Epic Random-ness: Third Encounter
Here are the series of events
Shin went to pay his tab , pays it and forgets to tip or whatever
Shin returns to the table, bartender quickly follows
and slams a nickel on the table and says he won't be disrespected
Bartender returns to bar, everyone at table says wtf
and tell shin to make it right.
Shin returns to bar and gives bartender a $10 bill, shakes bartenders hand.
Meanwhile the locals are all talking **** about our table.
Shin returns to table, bartender is still pissed. Shin is once again advised to try and make it right
Shin decides to buy bartender a shot and is then picked up.
Then I go to close out my tab, the bartender is telling the locals about the incident. I apologize to the bartender again and try and explain shin was drunk, but the damage was done.
That is exactly how it went down

The main thing that really pissed the bartender off was the manner that the nickel was left... it was like someone dropping a mic real thug like, but replace the mic with a nickel dropping on the bar and you get the picture
That part I saw in person (even if shin doesn't recall, all the patrons sitting at the bar do) that was the snapping point

Now that's fuked up
Zain I distinctly remember dropping it in his hand, however, other than that, your account of the story is accurate.
Two guys (locals) did applaud me for trying to fix this.
The bartender DID ask me to get him a shot cause he couldnt just charge my debit card for a tip.

Shin WTF how do you forget at tip? If you only had 70$ and your bill was 70$ HOW THE FAWK did you expect to tip him. At that point you put it on your card and tip him with cash/card. I mean I have never not tipped, no matter how crappy the service was no matter how drunk I was I always remember to tip and its always 10% + even for horrible *** service.

Also he may have asked you to buy the shot, but it was our suggestion that you go back again and try and make it right( however it became apparent that it was already a lost cause) hard to change someone's mind that feels they were blatantly disrespected ( intentionally or accidentally ) in their place of business.

The point at which it Was realised that he forgot to tip was when said nickel was thrown back onto our table by the bartender. After that we told shin to make it right, and that was when he left the $10 etc...
