Why do you think adding more fuel to a stock car would yield better results?

Anyhow, to answer your question - you'll need to upgrade your fuel return system if you want to run larger injectors. If you read up on shop builds, the larger CC injectors, the more fuel it injects into the cylinders thus creating more power. Stock injectors are crap, 550cc's are sub-par. If you want big power, go with anything above 1000 CC's.
With the added fuel, you'll need a good engine management system. There's this local guy "i3aoG" selling a Greddy E-manage that you'd want to pick up for a steal. Heard he only wants $300 for it. With this unit, you can maximize the fuel output w/ your stock fuel return system and 1000cc injectors.
As someone has mentioned before, "learn how the motor works." I can give you a brief rundown. A motor sucks in air from the outside, mixes it with fuel, the sparks create a combustion which yields you power. If you're already upgrading your fuel, you need to upgrade the other three: intake, spark, and combustion.
Intake - you want low density air for maximum results. A lot of folks on here have front mounted cold-air intake systems. You can get them for fairly cheap on e-bay.
For example, bb1314 has a front mounted intake cold-air setup:

You can PM any of those guys, they have been having great results.
Spark - you can achieve greater spark by purchasing a grounding kit. It yields anywhere between 15-20whp. Most vendors on here sell them.
Combustion: you want to lower your compression in order to achieve more power. Take a look at all the big horse power builds on the forum, they're all running 8.0.1, 8.5.1, 9.0.1 etc. Anything over 9 is too much compression for a naturally aspirated engine. Lower = More power. You can achieve this buy purchasing a thicker head gasket. Companies like Cometic/Cosworth sell great ones. If you're on a budget, people have gone to the dealer to purchase two "HR head gaskets" and stacked them on top of one another. This also works out great.
Good luck on the build.
ill do my research. just so u guys no im a diesal mechanic for ford been doing it for 4 years i apoligize for dumbing myself down but sometimes its the best way to get answers sad but true. i already plan on lowering my compression and improving fuel pressure im also going to put cams and much more aggressive valve angles. i was trying to understand what mopds to do first on a z figured u guys would no since u have had them longer and i figured that the fastest way to learn was to simply ask.
