Capitol today @4:30PM
Late notice, but I'm heading to Capitol at 4:30 today for some runs on the 'new' track. Supposedly it is much improved. We'll see!
Anyone is welcome to watch/race with me. $20 to race $10 to watch (damn good price).

Let me know the new track prep is, and how the crowd is. I'm looking to get back to the drag strip in a couple weeks (probably Cecil , but possibly Capitol depending)
Same crowd but way less packed -- hot laps from 5:00 to 7:00. New staff much more friendly and accommodating. Prep is definitely better too, not quite cecil/MIR but close.
Best E/T was 12.04 @ 116 / 1.71 on econo street map. Race map would have been high 11's / 118+mph which is on par with my previous bests at MIR/cecil especially considering 50% humidity.
Overall I approve. Just wish they sold unleaded :P

Just to clarify the only diff. between the two maps is knock control. The ECU is hyper sensitive and pulls timing constantly with it on. So basically the more boost I throw at it the more timing it pulls on the econo map. I probably could have ran the race map yesterday but don't feel comfortable without a gallon or two of 103 octane for insurance. I wish capitol would start having some for sale sometime.
So far it's on for Friday. Hopefully more Z/G's show up. Last week (aside from me and derrick) there was a stock-ish 370Z running high 13's and a stillen'd 350 doing mid 14's. So far this season G's are king.
