That price is about average anywhere you go, welcome to the FI world. Plus, I'm sure you know Frank does a great job tuning so consider the money well spent.

If you already have uprev shouldn't cost that much for a retune. If you don't expect to pay that much. I thought Moore Automotive tuned your car wasn't your car there a few months ago?

When I asked Frank about a 'touch up' tune on my existing tune he told me they will charge full price (minus the license which I already own) and send me home with it locked. Apparently with F/I they will start from scratch with their own base maps regardless. Too much $$$$ and red tape for me... so I took it elsewhere. I did hear that recently they have relaxed their policies on N/A tunes though.

Yeah they charge a lot for a tune/retune but they do the best job in the area. The tune is the absolute last place i want to cheap out on. My a/f ratio is piratically a strait line.

I agree they are best in the area for sure. I ventured out of the area and it was worth it for me at least. Some like having everything done local and I can respect that.

No they only did spotty repair work. They have lost a customer for life, their prices were not horrible, and the important work was done well, but they ****ed up tons of small things and I took it back once to have them resolved to find not all of the issues were.

It was nice. A bunch of the new young guys and some familiar faces too. Nick is back from the 'stan and came with Karl. It was real nice to see those guys, brings me back to when I first started destoying the resale value of my car.

Missed almost all of the guys I usually see at the Mid-A meets though
