I sure will. I will be there when I get out of school (Mid-End of May) and probably stay there for 2 weeks and then go to Iran. How much are hotels over there. Something nice..

Thanks

Dude these are the 06 rims- the only difference is that my rear tires are 19s and the front are 18s but the rims stayed the same;

as for the sensors, i know its probably going to get annoying with the beeping and all, but i'm going to need those- you have to admit they can be very useful in Dubai, no?

see you soon bro

ahh I see, I thought that our '06 will have the same rims as in US. anyhow it looks sweet bro. keep it clean

as for the sensors naah I dont think they are useful. I never trust these sensors, they keep beeping even if there is nothing at the back ... hope they fix better one for you

yeah i know they can be annoying sometimes, but thats sort of the point as long as they prevent unecessary scrapes, i'm fine with it; my friend got them fitted on his FX35 and he's lovin it (no mcdonalds pun intended

see you on the road soon bro

Default NEWBIE with Q

Whadup all?
Just moved to the Emirates from Toronto and bought myself a brand-spanking new Z and wanted to know where I could get some upgrades. I've always had big cars so this sports car is a rush for me. I sold a 4.6HSE to get this baby so i've got plenty of change to spend on it. Don't want to do too much for now as I don't want to void the warranty.

I've heard that Sharjah was the place to get these sort of things done. I'm currently working & living between Abu-Dhabi & Dubai.

Samery2k, nice colour combo.

Scarface9 & Blackend, looking at your specs I guess you guys could best answer my question. Especially Scarface9 seeing that I am looking to get the JWT Pop-Charger, AAM Plenum Spacer and the Borla Exhaust (I assume that is it a cat-back Dual).

hey arabishe,

good to see more Z owners from the same region.. Unfortunately all the mods I have were bought and shipped from the US. and yes shipping is nasty as you guessed it. I dont think there are shops in UAE that sell parts for our cars, except one shop in Sharjah called Intraco, this shop have Greddy bodykit, Greddy exhaust, TN turbo kit, Tein coilover, volk rims, pistons, rods, etc... In short they specialize for the 350z.

If you want an exhaust and intake I suggest to go with custom made, will cost less and the shop that will make them will give warranty for the parts.

BTW, what color is your Z bro?

let me know if I can help you more!

Scarface,
Thanks for the update bro. Too bad about the parts, guess i've got a lot of waiting time ahead for me... ...oh well....

As for the colour, I got a Sunset Orange on Orange.

So far my additions are 3M tints and did as Samery2K did and got larger rims in the rear. The car actually comes with a crossbar and stabalizer and decent brakes; so for now I guess i'll start my search for Exhausts and Rims untill the parts arrive. Can you recommend any place for custom exhausts? I appreciate the advise.

By the way, i'm very impressed with the car. It's still under 1,000 clicks so I'm taking her easy...can't wait till I can punch her...

Default Clear Bra...

Also...does anyone have the 3M Clear Bra - Protective Film...for the nose of the car?

I'd probably have to order it and have Nissan install them by the looks of things. Still worth asking...

The stealership actually has some for the wheel area but not for anywhere else.

All this construction on SZR is killing my paint!!!

arabishe,

Thanks god you didnt get silver or black Z, we have plenty of these two colors in our group you'll be unique if you join us..

as for the custom exhaust I recommend 'Fox' workshop. what I like about them is that they give warranty for their parts. I suggest you hear the sound of fox exhaust for the 350z on nature, we have 2-3 guys in our group that have this exhaust.

I dont know much about the clear bra since I paint my bumper every 3 months (will be painting my front next week ) ... maybe samery2k knows something about it!
