Best way to launch from a start
Hello fellow Z-heads
I was just curious what is the best way to launch without as much tire spin from a dead start in a stock 350z with stock tires?
Is there any specific rpm range that won't take life off the clutch?

yeah, start her off at about 1200RPMs, slowly engage, and roll on.
oh you mean launch, nope, cant launch without shortening clutch life. owell, were talking 80000miles instead of 120000 hopefully, what can you do? just go to 2500 or 3000RPM and feather off the clutch, dont just drop it, let it off quickly. if your wheels spin, do less RPMs. and of course, youll need TCS off for this to work.

The best thing to do is ditch the stock tires and get a set of Nitto NT555-R's or some other type of drag radial. Trying to launch on those stock tires is like driving on ice, especially when it is cold.
