Default Are there problems racing w/ stock LSD?

I am debating between a Base, or Enthusiast, because of the LSD. I dont really want to spend too much on the initial purchase, but an LSD seems like its almost nescessary with the HP the Z puts out. My concern is that Nissan viscous LSDs on the new Sentra Spec-V have been failing at the track, even on stock cars. They may be alright for a run or two, but then they start giving up. Is this an issue on the Z? I know Viscous arent as good as clutch type, and I don't want to pay for an option that is going to hinder me rather than help me. I will Auto-x and drag this car some, what do you guys think I should do?
Thanks,
Tony

The Spec V actually has a helical LSD as far as I know... but honestly, I'd go with the base and swap out the open diff for a Quaife...

Now that you mention it, I think you are right about the spec-v having a helical LSD. I am pretty limited on extra cash to spend on the Z when I get it. I already have an expensive set of wheels, plus an intake, and exhaust picked out. By the time I get it, there will probably be a chip or ECU available too. I just wonder if it is worth paying for the LSD upfront, or will I have problems with it.
Anyone else have any opinions, or experiences?
Later,
Tony

I've got a Brickyard Performance with 7000 that I've autoX'd a couple times with no problems. I haven't drag raced except when entering the highway (or the carpool lane).

When I enter my steep driveway on an angle, one rear tire usually lifts off the ground (and spins slightly), and I hear the LSD make some noise, but I've never had any reliability problems yet...

I personally think the best buy is the enthusiast because you get the homelink, traction control, xenon, cruise control, and LSD (basically an extra). To me, the other options (especially cruise control - I often do two-three hour drives), make that version worth it even if it came without the LSD.
