I don't think I have to have a Z to know that a 2002 Accord V6 has 200HP and no MT and a redesigned 2003 has 240HP and the coupe is available with a 6 Sp-MT

Default So I raced a 2003 so what?

Sorry for the wrong specs. No need to trash me man.

My point is what have *you* raced in *your* Z?

Anyway I'm out of this thread. I don't have to prove my story to you, I was there.

Have a good one.

"I gave you the links including pics. Everything you stated including the HP is wrong. You haven't even got your car yet and you are already starting crap."

But YOU were actually wrong, then by telling you your wrong you say I am trashing you.. Funny kiddie stuff

Come on guys chill out. There IS an older V6 accord with VTEC (Im sorry I dont know the exact years) but I believe it was the body before last. It is actual VTEC with a preset RPM to change the cam characteristics, but not as drastically as in such cars as the Prelude and NSX.

Don't CARE to, especially to someone who lists a Camaro as the car they drive in their profile.

Sure seems to be a lot of "newbies" who don't even own a Z talking smack here lately. I hate when good boards turn to crap in threads like this because of smack talk. Trying to ruin our forum? Is that what this new influx of newbies talking trash is about? It's not gonna happen. Go back to ls1.com.

I proved that there is a V6 VTEC for both 2002 and 2003 and provided links. Yet I still get badgered by people who don't even own a Z.

Lesson learned, avoid this section and stick to the performance mod section where I normally hang out.

As for "fun kiddie stuff" I am 37 years old.

Owning a Camaro, a Z, or a golf cart has nothing to do with it. You are the one talking "smack", especially if that means talking without knowing what you are talking about.

I never said anything about the VTEC. Focusing on that is a meaningless distraction anyway.

I've said nothing untrue, YOU are the one who was in error. Ok, you were wrong on the HP, but you said he told you that. You were wrong that it was a V6, either that or you were wrong that it had a M/T.

You also said that "he looked to weight about 100 pounds less than me...", what the crap does that mean?

Then, when someone suggested that you were wrong, you got snotty.

And then to attack my car..... it reminds me of the ricer mentality. I'm here because I like the Z, and am interested in learning about them. It would be a better world if everyone knew more about each other's cars.

It is your attitude that makes me comment on a thread like this.

Sorry man, misquoted you by virtue of a typo. Should be

"He looked to weigh about 100 pounds less than me"

I hate it when I do that.

Why is everyone so jumpy here. Looks like the classic car enthusiast is a dying breed and all that there is now is little magazne racers that like nothing more than to prove they know more to people they don't know. Look guys, the man knows what he saw and raced, but perhaps had the wrong year. The point is regardless of if you are a domestic driver, import driver, or go-kart driver (could not think of a third type ) just chill and talk and discuss what you are here to discuss. If you don't believe somebody about something, o well. If you believe yourself to know more than them... o well. Just don't go off calling people liars and unintelligent. I remember the days when people enjoyed sharing thier information and learning more about their cars and others, guess those days are long gone. This picture comes to mind, though its not directly relevant.

You got that right C my tails 350z there are quite a few magazine racers here. And once again somebodys got start talkin **** about a car I happen to own. So what if Camaro guys and Mustang guys frequent this forum. Many Mustang owners frequent LS1.com, and many Camaro guys frequent the Corral.net so blaming us for ruining your precious little forum is a little off base. I mean would rather have only 350z owners on here? Then I guess you could claim any kill you wanted huh? We are just here to share in the automotive experiance. Oh and ChicagoEz is the only person I have ever seen that has defeated a 2000 Cobra M6. I mean he just walked it, totally walked it so go out and race a 4V mustang, you will just waste it.

MLTTASK,

Let me get a few things real clear before I put this useless thread to bed.

The title of the thread is called race? I shared a story about a race. It happened, it was fun and I enjoyed it.

It was a true story. I got the year and HP wrong because *my friend* drives a 2002 200 HP and it is a very nice looking car.
The car I raced obviuosly was the 2003 240HP which makes it an even better kill. Both were the same color. I shared my story then I got called a liar. So I provided links that *proved* their was a V6 VTEC for both 2002 and 2003.

What does him weighing 100 pounds less than me have to do with anything? It's called weight reduction bud, ever heard of it!!!
Lighter cars go faster and yes that includes the driver DUH!

But that wasn't good enough for you, you come back and *STILL* call me a liar.

Don't have to....or can't?
So let me ask you this simple question.

What exactly have you added to this thread about race kills other than calling me a liar and upsetting me?

Don't try and turn this into a board against board thing, I have been posting on LS1.com for a long time and my previuos car was a FireHawk and the regulars know this. I am also a member of Trans Am Club Of America Golden State Chapter. I have sold over 30 products on lLS1.com and have friends there too. I said go back there because you are not doing nothing here but causing trouble so don't try and twist into a board against board thing.

So if anyone is giving F-Bod owners a bad name it is *YOU* for having nothing better to do but jump in this thread and call someone a liar.

Let's put the blame where the blame belongs, on YOU!

You are here representing Camaro owners right?

Well, you suck at it. Bottom line.

And on that note, I'm through with you and this thread.

P.S. Thanks C My Tails 350Z for trying to keep the thread on track.

I tried... I mean truly tried not to laugh at that pic, but you know it was lost cause. Good point btw. Argueing on the internet is pointless, a parking lot somewhere with both your cars... well thats another matter.
