Awesome kills. Im kinda suprised with the bent, but I guess the older ones werent as strong as they are now. Dont underestimate them cuz while they may weigh 3 tons, they are packing MASSIVE amounts of torque. Nice kills though.

You are making quite a leap there, assuming they are kills

You just asked "What have some of you raced...?"

I understand what you are saying, but that sounds like two different lists to me. The assumption I was kidding about was that those belonged in the second list.

Raced a BMW 328. It was two lanes at the stop light and about 1000 yards away the right lane merge into the left one. I was in the right lane and just wanted to be able to merge to the left lane in front of the BMW. I didn't know he was going to try to race me. I launched semi hard just to get in front (manual trans), and he was right there so I just stayed on it through 3rd gear and pulled him by about 2 car lengths. I slowed down after I merged over and he passed me in the oncoming traffic lane and just kept going.

Ive only driven the 330's and 325's in the standard 3-series and they arent given enough credit for what they are. They have a very nice torque band and are a load of fun to drive.

I took a 2002 Honda (White) from a dead stop, we went all the way to about 85mph and I was gone. He was behind me through eery gear.

It said VTEC on the side so I am assuming it was a V6? I know a guy with the exact car even the color and I think he said it was 220HP?

He also looked to weigh about 100 pounds less than me and he had a M/T and I have an A/T. I also have 100 lbs of stereo equpment in the back.

I get revved on by Honda's with racing mufflers and wings all the time (mostly 4 bangers) but I don't even give them the time of day.

Just some FYI

Assuming it was a V6? The only V6 Honda (not acura) car out there is in the Accord and I don't believe its concidered a VTEC and for 2002 would have 200HP but would have to be auto (no MT for 2002 V6s).. And if it said VTEC on the side (if factory not a stick on) it would only be a Civic Si (160HP) but pretty quick, 0-60 in 7 secs I think...

Are ya sure! Cause it could be the super secret V6 VTEC.

I'm just kidding.

Default Oh really?

So my friends car is imaginary too?

2002 Honda V6 VTEC

You are right it is 200 HP, but they are quick. But they don't exist right? Get your facts straight before you call someone a lair.

Cylinders V6; Liters 3.0; Fuel Induction 24V VTEC; HP 200; Torque 195

I don't think you were refering to me cuz all I was I don't believe its concidered a VTEC, meaning I it does not have that VTEC threshold that kicks in... Not that they don't exist.. Anyway a V6 Manual in an Accord don't exist.. The auto does 0-60 in 7.5-8.2 depending on where you read it from...

Anybody know the diffrence in 0-60 times for MT vs AT for the Z? I don't believe they were published for the AT..

It says VTEC that's all I know and I guess it had to be an Auto.

The engine is a 3.0 V6 VTEC. Period.

Default Let' go directly to the source (Honda)

For your power-hungry alter ego, the 240-hp, 24-valve VTEC® V-6 engine in the LX V-6 more than satisfies. Also, it offers all the standard features of the LX Coupe, plus a standard 5-speed automatic transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes with electronic brake distribution, a Traction Control System (TCS), front side airbags and a driver's seat with 8-way power adjustment.
It says VTEC on the 3.0 V6 engine

And exactly where does the specs on a completly redesigned 2003 Accord fit into a thread where somebody raced a Civic Si and thought it was a 2002 Accord?

Default I raced an Accord dude

Get over it.

I gave you the links including pics. Everything you stated including the HP is wrong. You haven't even got your car yet and you are already starting crap.

L8TR

Edit add, so I raced an 03. So what?

Am I being called a liar? Geez. This thread bites.

I am out of it.
