350z tuning ?

New to the forum. Glad to have found it.
Curious to hear input by experienced board members regarding the 'tuneability' of the z33 350z.
I'm most interested in what suspension setup's people are running ( I know that jic makes an flt-a2 setup for the z; 15 dampening setting, and perch adjustable height), and they also make an exhaust (bullet 505), but each of these are close to $1k each, and are just the beginning, anyone have other manufactures they've used w/ success? Spring rates, and alignment setting would be useful as well.
Also, how is the trickle of NISMO support coming? Will there be a full catalog be available for US customers? will it be reasonably affordable, and are the parts functional? Seats, front splitters, rear wings, etc.
Lastly, where can the z afford to lose weight; that is, what are the most accesible 'extranious' parts just waiting to be removed.
Thank you for your input.
PS- How is the z 'at the limit'? Have people that track the cars found them to be planted and progressive w/ regard to handling, or are they twitchy and have snap-oversteer tendencies? Is there a problem w/ understeer? Are the 'traction aids' intrusive?
