ATTN RICERS: Loud doesn't equal fast!!!
What is the deal with all these guys who think they can cut off a cat or add a big obnoxious exhaust and then go hang with cars waaaaay outta their league??? Or even worse, they just sticker their car up and add a bunch of heavy ground effects and spoilers?? I swear, if I had a dollar for every POS civic, accord, integra, focus, eclipse, celica (the list goes on and on) i've thrashed i'd give it to congress to have your fast and furious BS cars used for scrap metal. BIG POINT: Stickers don't make you quicker, those big ugly a$$ spoilers just add weight to your car decreasing your power to weight ratio, and that raspy exhaust just confirms the fact that you hang with a bunch of wanna be vin deisel's wish they had a real car. I understand the 350Z is not the fastest car around, but these jerkoffs actually thinking they could hang with a 350 is like me pulling up to a Viper with only my CAI and giving the driver a smirk and revving my engine. Grow up, get a life, and a real car.

Yeah I know I get alot of them fartcan civics..Damn annoying exhaust. Actually I had who wanted to race me! I got up to like 100mph and he wasnt even in sight!

my 90 crx with a b16a and a drag gen turbo is loud. way way way loud. the last LS1 that raced me flipped when i pulled on him all the way to the next stop light.
last time we weighed the car it was at 22xxlbs with me in it and about half a tank of gas. i haven't had it dynoed yet but it's probably putting down over 220 whp. and it handles pretty damn well also (pulls harder than the Z does).
so next time you hear a fart can exhaust it doesn't nessecarily mean they are slow either. one day you will meet someone like me who has the Z to cruise in and a CRX to race.
i do agree with you though. i had a race in my crx before the turbo was on there and the only thing done was the swap I/H/E/Cams and a few other things. the other guy was in a crx with a giant muffler. he saw my HKS exhaust and assumed it woudl be a decent race. it wasn't as he soon figured out.

i like the 350z(impressive power, but not so much on the looks(opinion))...and i know the cobras are faster, but its all in good fun. i know plenty of stangs that can hand me my ***...but its still fun 
some people love raw torque, some people like other things...everything is opinion, i was just stating the facts about the power in the models...i didnt do any bashing like you did

Its the looks that draws attention. You figure the new supercharged Cobra is fast like the Zo6 and costs in the mid 30s but not selling well?! All stangs look all the same.

BTW.. not all ppl in Civics are track junkies.. its sometimes some little kids thats all show.. especially here in the bay area

It never ceases to amuse me as I watch honda drivers spend as much for mods as their cars are worth, and then compare them to cars like the Z or Z06 just because they are running 12's.
Get over it!

If I spent the value of my car on engine swapping or tuning, I'd be running freakin' 10's!
Let's compare stock to stock and mod to mod.
In either case, no honda (except maybe the NSX) can ever hold a torch to a Z, Boxter, or Vette; I don't care if it is running 8 second quarters.
How does that go?
