Japanese Touring GT series
Was watching today on speed. Jesus these guys are ridiculous drivers! There are wrecks on every lap!?! They are worse than NASCAR! I would hate to see our 350Zs wreck like that. In 5 minutesI saw, a Porsche, McLauren, NSX, Viper, Supra, and Skyline wrecked! Its brutal! They seem to have no etiquette on passing. If one car is about to pass another outside on an inside turn, they will hit. I've seen dirt track racing with more finesse, and I only like road racing...
you are joking, right?
Did you know what speed channel shows are season recaps, not single races? That would explain why you think there are so many crashes. Do a bit of research before you bash such a great racing series. Every kind of racing will have its accidents. Its an inherently dangerous sport.
Oh, next time you compare JGTC to NASCRAP, I will have to open up a can of whoop *** on you.

I also was watching SPEED tv today. I was looking for the 350 in the JTC...didn't see it but then realized that these races are all probably a year old. Their summaries of the JTC or European GT are always confusing to watch. Do you know of websites for the JTC that are written in English?
you can go to www.jgtc.net
There is a button in the upper-right-ish area that looks like a british flag. Click on that, and it will take you to a nearly FLAWLESS english translation of the site. It's quite handy.

I realize that they are recaps. I have been to my fair share of endurance races (Petite Le Mans etc.) and have seen far less wrecks and contact in 10,12 or 24 hours than in one recap of a sprint race in JGTC. I like the cars, I'm just saying that the etiquette is horrible, they put each other into walls. You don't see that in ALMS or F1 too often...
As for the whoopass, easy Chachi...

And please, don't compare JGTC to NASCAR.
In NASCAR's defense, I'd like to see you take turns at 200 mph.

Not that I think that HiRev2ner is the a great car show or anything, but they were covering the Tokyo Auto Salon and they showed an Autobacs 300 car from JGTC and the first thing they said was, "JGTC is Japan's version of NASCAR."...

And, oddly enough, GT cars can corner even on right hand corners

Japan GT Championship = Professional Racing
NASCAR = A well orchestrated Circus (the WWF of racing)
