Default 3.5L CL type S Vs. 350Z

all from a roll...im not going to make excuses but i couldnt get in front of him and when we finanlly got to wide open road we went from 60 mph and he put a car on me that i held until 113mph...after the shift into 4th he started pulling well...if you remember my "fastest stock GT in the world" i think if i were making excusues it would be, i had just been cruising and like my experiences at the track the car gets faster after a few WOT runs... the second go was closer than the first. i whish we could have caught a light...

i might add this guy had a young girl passenger and paper tags...

I'm an ex CL-S owner and remember that TypeR did a 3.5L conversion at a Florida dealer on his CL-S soon after they came to market. New pistons, crank and other assorted goodies. His car is for real.

Too risky. I received two tickets and four warnings in the "Golden Droid". I wanted to be a bit more stealthy this time.

from a couple of the rescent posts, i think you're right...on the street advantage me...as i think i can get out off the line better than most but from a roll especially from a 60 mph roll all my advatgae is gone ...it was fun though...that's all i care about...BTW this road has super light traffic at night(we were the only 2 cars) with no exits or entrances for a mile and a half its dead straight until the end which is where i backed off ...

Dude, major props on your CL-S, nice car! I came really close to replacing my daily driver with a CL-S 6-speed but just didn't want to take on the additional payment right now...

...ya im sure he figured he'd smoke me good....he's probally questioning his purchase ...i dont wanna sound like that guy but...honestly i've been to the 1/4 and 1/8th about 100+ passes and my car really does get alot faster after 3-5 passes...i start out 14.4 and work it down to 14.0 in the heat ...ive only broken 13 4 times so....i figure with those numbers from a dead stop ill bet i could of made the race go the other way with him just on my rear bumper upto 110 where then he would have started pulling hard.
