Default Auto-X and VDC

Im curious if VDC would help or hurt in auto-x. I think it would help unless you were a very skilled driver which I am not. I think Im a all right driver. Ive done Mercedes Tech drive twice, and have driven in a couple of auto-x. Ive seen old men that look like they couldnt control there bladder out drive me under the table though. Women also. When it comes to a skilled driver you defently cant judge a book by its cover.

it hurts me, it really cuts the power coming out of the corners where a little wheelslip is very controllable.

Agreed!

Even in the rain I was able to get better times with VDC off than with it on. The power cut is way too severe for track driving.

As far as the older folks go, just keep in mind that they have had a significantly greater amount of time to practice...
