I wanted to start a thread with a compiled list of kills. Basically, All I am wondering what kinds of cars have been beaten by the Zs on this web site and what kinds of cars have beaten it.

No Stories. No Flaming. No excuses. No B.S. Just a simple list or cars.

The reason I am starting this is because I find it very interesting to see what different Zs are beating and getting beat by (ie. kill posts) but I get tired of just about every one of these posts turning into an arguement.

I know theres alot that goes into a race (i.e. drivers, modifications, MPH raced at, launch, etc.). I just want to see the kills with no drama. If you want to post a story about how it happened or want to know more details, PM or post it in a thread about that particular race.

Here, I'll start off.

Won: 99+ Mustang GT. 98+ Prelude. 2001+ IS300.

Lost: 96-98 Cobra. 2001+ M3.

 

I have a Z28 but I have won and lost my fair share...
WON-a 350Z, numerous Mustang GT's, a couple LT1 Z28's, a LT1 Vette, countless rice, 2 Boxters, and a few 96-98 Cobra's(driver error on one)

LOST-Every LS1 I ever faced(I didnt think I could win), a 99 Mustang GT, a 89 5.0 (stroker motor), a Supra Single turbo(a slaughter), and a couple LT1 Z28's.

Im sure there were more of each but its hard to remember them all.

I know I dont drive a 350 Z but I just wanted to get the list started.

2003 SVT Mustang Cobra Convertable M6 catback lost by 2 cars to 115
1997 Civic hatch 5M B18 with 50 shot destroyed it
1990 Mustang Notch 5M with H/C/I 331 and 175 shot utter and complete anhilation of my Camaro
My own 1995 GT 5M H/C/I BPU completly destroyed the Camaro

99+ Mustang GT 5M (maybe stock...don't know) pulled a good bit from a 70 roll.
96 Bolt-on maxima 5M (13.9@98) by 5-6 cars from 80-130.
95 Talon AWD Turbo 5M (bunch of bolt-ons 17 psi, stock Turbo) 1.5 lengths from 60-110.
Porsche Boxter (not the S), I was still in break in...didn't take it above 4500 and still beat him badly.

Killed by:
97-02 C5 Vette 4A coupe lost by 1 length from 70-120. I had a major gearing advantage from that speed...and other speeds I would have been toasted BAD.

Once it gets warmer...I'll have a bunch more of both...hehe, although I don't often pick fights with cars that I know are faster..unless it's from a dig.

Here are my kills:
With my Z: Volvo C60 (I think) turbo - multiple cars to 130+, '94 Mustang GT w/ off-road H-pipe and flowmasters, and some assorted rice. So far in the Z I have lost to my brother's '02 TA WS6 and his Buick GS.
With my Buick: Many LT1 and LS1 Camaros/Firebirds, Mustang GTs and Cobras, Honda Accord on the spray, Chevelle SS 396, Dodge Challenger (383), Eclipse GSX w/ 20G turbo, Supra Turbo (mods unknown), 300ZX TT (intake/exhaust), and too many other cars to list. Deaths - '57 Chevy w/ Nascar small block (600+ hp), '00 WS6 w/ bolt ons/150 shot, '93 Mustang Cobra w/ fully built 5.0.
With my BMW: Ford Aspire and my brother's '88 Colt Vista w/ 4G63 before it decided to spit out a plug.

 

BogBadBuford, Do you have any pics of your Buick? Sounds like a beast of a ride.

Hmm... well, here's mine if it matters. Not much street racing where I live.

Win: '96 LT4 Corvette - from a dig, I was pulling away hard by the top of 2rd
Tie: '99 Corvette M6 - dead even from 5mph to 115mph
Loss: '93 5.0 LX - full bolt ons and a blower kill me every time my neighbor and I take our girls out to dinner

Cars that have taken me....
None yet...I've only had the car for a month...so, I'm waiting for a Z06 to come rolling up on me.

 

Right now pics don't do the car justice. The body/interior is pretty rough and I put most of my money into the drivetrain, although this spring it will be sporting a new fiberglass front end, new rear quarters and a fresh paint job. My Buick isn't actually all that wild, it has a mostly stock 455 w/ ported/polished heads, balanced and blueprinted, 10:1 TRW forged pistons, Straightline Performance "small" cam, Edelbrock performer intake and topped w/ an 850 cfm Demon. It will soon be getting a 200 shot of NOS also.
My brother has a nastier combo, a 464 inch Buick w/ TA Aluminum Stage II heads, 11.5:1 compression, Ross pistons, Eagle H-beam rods, and a TA SP-1 intake w/ a 1000 cfm Race Demon. It dynoed at 596 hp/568 tq. He plans on putting a 300 shot of NOS on top of it once we get the chassis sorted out to take all the power.
The fun part is they both don't really look fast at all, so we get into plenty of street races. My motor is painted all black, so other than the headers and the chrome air cleaner everyone thinks it is stock. I've made a bit of money with it, but it started to get a reputation so I can't do it much anymore.

 

I have a Olds 442 W-30 with the 455 so I know what a mostly stock 455 will do. Right now I am in school and hate doing it but the Olds is sitting due to the fact that it gets all of 8 miles per gallon. Sounds like your bro has a nice setup too. Later.

heh, as you can see i got my mods in teh winter when no one decent wanted to play.. The only loss i had was when my friend with the z06 would start pullin on me in 3rd gear.

 

No offense to all the domestic guys....but I think this thread was started to have 350Z kills in it....not all other cars.

 

None taken, but I beat a 350Z and he did want to know cars the Z was beating and also losing to.

I beat a 350Z two weeks ago. Not much of a race. Haven't lost on the street yet, but it's comming......guess I've been lucky. All my loses have come at the track!

 

I couldn't get a Z to run against me But it was a very nice looking car. What mods are available for Z's? How fast are they running?
