The innocent driver in the opposing lane has lived for 87 years and is now clinging to life in the hospital because of idiot street racers...

If you want to race, take it to the track!

I agree Kevin, it breaks my heart and the 16 year old passenger is dead. The drivers 16 and 18 respectively...straight street, 5 lanes, sunny afternoon, What were they thinking? I feel very badly for th old gentleman and he didn't have an airbag in his old dodge, Held up better than the 3000GT did. Seems that every spring there is an incident like this and fatalities. It is a shame for everyone involved in this tragedy. Marcy, Oh BTW how have you been Kevin? I still want to see your car and the mods.

Hi Marcy,

It is a shame, for those who have/will die and were injured as a result, and for the drivers who have ruined their lives for the foreseeable future (vehicular homicide is a felony I believe).

I've been swamped with work (reviews, budget prep, project work, etc). I am headed to Puerto Vallarta on Friday for 12 days though, so I hope to be alot less stressed soon...

Maybe a meeting the weekend of the 22nd if possible? I'll be back on the 19th and don't have to return to work until the 24th (Woooo!).

Kevin

Any kind of homicide is a felony.

Something don't add up about this!! the 16 year old girl was driving a 6cyl mustang with the top down. The other 16 year old was driving a 3000gt sl! These are not fast cars. Just a guess they have no proff they where street racing. They where probally flirting or something to that effect!! But what do I know! The cops will make it about street racing no matter what the truth is. I am very sad for the loss to the families. I also think street racing is wrong. I just think there is more to that story then we are being told. When I was 17 I got into a head on collision with a trans-am. Totalling my 300zx . The woman driving the trans am crossed the center median stricking the mustang that was in front of me , killing the 17 year old driver. The cops imediatly accused me of racing him. The truth was I was just behind him in traffic. They dropped it after a while but it was asked. anyways I think there is more to the story. I could be wrong but who knows.
