Thumbs up Wow... Now this is F1.

What an amazing race it's been. The rule changes really added to the unpredictability and made everything interesting. Add on top of it the accidents (especially Barichello) and Miki's drive-through and Micheal's black-flag penalties and the initial wet conditions, the race was totally unpredictable until the last 8-10 laps.

This race was one of the best I watched in a long time. I especially like the new points distribution. Imagine this: Renault is now one point ahead of Ferrari, Amazing.

Definately a great show, but F1 could learn something from Nascar. You don't bring someone in for a drive throgh (Kimi BTW, not Miki) on a minor infraction when you've got wheel to wheel racing for first.

GREAT RACE! very glad that Ferrari didn't win.. Juan Montoya should've won that one, can't believe they didn't change tires on the last pit stop, it took them long enough just to fuel, so why not change tires?

Anyway, nice job with McLaren...Bad start, but great finish!

Damnit! I can't believe I forgot about the first race of the season. How embarrassing. What did I miss?

For now, it's a nice change of pace. Would I like to see it like that long term? No. As a long time F1 fan, I can tell you F1 is not healthy is Ferrari in not doing well. I remember way back in '92 at Mexico City, I was at a post-qualifying press meet. Both Dallaras on customer Ferrari engines had just outqualified both factory Ferraris. Everyone agreed something wasn't right when Ferrari was doing that poorly. If you've ever been to a GP, you know how large a part of the F1 fanbase the tifosi are, and keeping them happy by having Ferrari on top (or at least within striking distance) helps the sport.

Repeats tonight on Speed. Yeah, can't believe they busted Kimi for 0.6 mph over the pit lane speed. Good to see Coulthard win, would've been even better to see pics of his gorgeous GF! Although the race was enjoyable, the one-lap qualifying really took the excitement away. Too bad about DaMatta, I was hoping he could at least finish.

Are the F1 races on free-to-air TV over here in the US? I only have basic cable...Back home in Aussie it was always live on free-to-air TV, first race of the year in Melb Oz is always a big deal back home.
Last year my bud was in Melb, his GF went out shopping he was tired and slept instead...his GF seen Schuuy and the whole Ferrari crew at a local cafe, he was a little upset

Unfortunately, F1 is only on the Speed channel over satelite links. That was THE ONLY reason I got DirectTV

I'm glad to see the the racing that good in F1. I fear that it won't be though as soon as Ferrari gets their new body. I glad to see McLaren back on top too.

I thought your one word would be Michelin, the real winner there.

I like the way Aussies pronounce Barge Boards. It was a great victory of Michelin.
